Hi there! Here's a bio I cut/paste from a cover letter (please forgive me for the laziness, but it does give a decent background): I'm a third year J.D. candidate at Stanford Law School. Prior to Stanford, I received degrees in Economics and Political Science from the University of Louisville (UofL) in my homestate of Kentucky. At UofL, I served as student-body president and on the University Board of Trustees, representing over 22,000 students. Upon graduation from UofL, I ventured to Hong Kong as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar, earning a Masters in International Affairs from the University of Hong Kong. During my final year before law school I worked for the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kuala Lumpur as a Fulbright Scholar, and most importantly, learned I did not want to work in the foreign service (Oh and, of course, continued my exploration of Asia!) Outside of Stanford Law, I work part-time at StartX, a non-profit startup business accelerator, working on business development, mentor and partner relations, national expansion, and legal education. My interests include the cultures and sights of Southeast Asia, international business, entrepreneurship and technology, unusual foods, scuba diving, and fine Kentucky bourbon.
Also, I'm usually travelling with my girlfriend, Yves (the pretty one donning the UCLA sweatshirt, boo Bruins, go CARDINAL!).
