Originally from a small town in Indiana, I grew up surrounded by cornfields. Dreams of a broader world led me to Georgetown University in Washington DC and, after graduating from the School of Foreign Service, to a career in the auto industry where I could follow my passion for all-things car. Living and working in Germany, England, Sweden and various places in the USA, I worked for Land Rover, BMW and Saab before returning to Washington DC to be part of the team that launchedu XM Satellite Radio. Today, I continue to work in the auto industry, now at Audi of America which I joined in the summer of 2011 after having my own consulting company, GreenCurry, for 2 years. Outside of work, I love my '87 Porsche 911, riding bikes, consuming an insane amount of sometime useless pop culture info on my iPad and spending time with a small group of good friends. I also do work with the Alzheimer's Association which has a personal connection to my mother. Washington DC is my hometown but I enjoy traveling around the world to keep a broader world view that doesn't buy into American Exceptionalism.
