I'm a pretty simple person. I like to eat, drink, play cards, listen to music, talk, learn languages, get upset about how messed up the world is, and make extraordinary plans for the future. I've spent some time in Spain and parts of Europe, and have done some human rights work in Honduras, and I hope to travel more. I'm getting ready to apply to law school and want to do work in either Human Rights, Immigration, Refugee/Asylum or other Public Service.
I've traveled minimally but I always need a deck of cards, a bottle opener and camera. I've learned that from there everything else is excessive and a luxury.
Being a woman who mostly travels by herself, the most important qualities in Airbnb hosts are respect, safety and trust. I have a pretty good gut and if my intuition tells me something I will usually go with it (even if it tells me to steer clear of someone!).
My next endeavor will be to live in Spain for the next 9 months (beginning in September). I'll eventually find my own place, but for the first few nights, I'd like to stay with a host that can help me ease into living in a foreign country! If you could help me with finding an apartment or a room in an apartment, I would greatly appreciate it!
