Kristie was named CEO in 2004 of Impulse Design Group, Inc. Through her leadership the company which started as a small design agency has grown to represent brands, people and events with their styling needs. Impulse is now the East Coast leaders when it comes to events. The company creates red carpet experiences, provides docu-style photography and event docu-films that help their clients continue to grow and dominate in their industries. Fashion events have grown from being a small store gathering to full blown WEEK LONG events. Kristie’s innovative ideas bring new life to fashion events.
Kristie began her media career with America’s Voice Television, Sinclair Communications (radio) and the Virginian-Pilot. Her organized creativity has launched and styled brands across the country. She attended George Mason University and Old Dominion University, studying Communications and Dance. As a previous Dance Teacher, Cheerleading Coach, Spontaneous Combustion Dance Company Dancer and George Mason University Masonette, Kristie is dedicated to ensuring dance in all its forms remain available to those who come next. ‘The arts can make a bad day better for kids. Dance has been a best friend of mine for as long as I can remember.” As a philanthropist, she supports causes concerning orphaned children, child abuse, animal welfare and cancer. Whether it’s hosting an event, securing red carpet interviews, producing docu-films, designing marketing collateral, she is committed to serving, especially when it comes to those that need other’s to be their voice. Her efforts have helped support, The American Cancer Society, Washington Humane Society, United Kids Fund and Kidsave International.
