I am easy going and relaxed. I like music, art, books, movies and dublins social scene. Down time involves hiking the Dublin mountains with our Dog, Maggie and generally enjoying myself.
We are both keen travellers and enjoy independent travel.
We stayed with Órla the first couple nights of our 2.5 week trip around Ireland and U.K., and it was the perfect start to the trip. Órla was very helpful with directions as well as great suggestions for Dublin - several of which we tried and enjoyed. Their place is great, perfectly located, and we were greeted with tea and breakfast and made extremely welcome. Their place is a great short walk from city centre, many good restaurants and pubs, and handily for us also a 5 minute walk to the Hertz care hire shop. Best of all they are such nice and welcoming people, wish we could have stayed longer!
The reservation was canceled 31 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
They are great! and maggie (the dog) is very cute. This is a good place if you want to be close to the city center.
There are cheaper options around but we couldn't find anyone closer to downtown.
Breakfast included ;)
My husband and I stayed with Órla and Dinny during a quick trip to Dublin, and it couldn't have been better! Their home was modern, beautiful, and clean, and the bedroom was comfortable and cozy.
They were both terribly kind and helpful, and we enjoyed getting to know both them and their adorable dog, Maggie, during our stay.
Orla and Dinny are great hosts and they did treat me like a friend. They gave me a lot of info about Ireland(what to do, where to go...), we shared our travel experiences, drank tea together in front of the fireplace ... The house is beautiful, well placed, the bed is superconfortable and the restroom is completely new! If I go back to Dublin, I already know where I will stay. Thank you guys!
Staying at Orla & Dinny's Dublin flat was just wonderful! They are both amazing hosts, and their little King Charles "Maggie" completes the environment. It is a warm and cozy nook in busy Dublin -- perfect for travelers on the go...Sitting by the fireplace having a cup of great Irish tea -- it was exactly what we needed. We would definitely stay there again!
Our first visit in Dublin, and Orla was most helpful in giving us suggestions on what to see and do. We arrived rather late but Orla waited for us and made us most welcome, even started a load of laundry that night (we had been on the road for 5 weeks) . Our room was clean, comfortable and private. A continental breakfast was appreciated each morning. The location is great as you are very close to the city center. We will be back...
We had a wonderful time in Dublin. The place was easy to get to and exactly as described. The room is very comfortable and everything was very clean. Orla and Dinny are easy to reach and have made our stay very nice. Unfortunately, during our stay they were away and we didn't get to meet them in person. Their neighbor received us and gave us great tips about where to go. The heater broke on the second day and they tried everything to have it repaired. They offered us a refund due to that. We definitely recommend the place and would stay there again.
Orla and Dinny is absolutely adorable, interesting and warm. You will not regret coming to their place and you will want to return in their house. I deeply recommend them to you!
Órla & Dinny hosted my parents for 2 nights and they were great ! Their house is very cosy and clean, and my parents spent two great nights in their room. Dinny even bought some Croissants for breakfast, which i truly appreciated ! My parents were delighted by their journey and it even motivated them to register to Airbnb to start hosting people in their house in France. Thank you guys for the wonderful accommodation and the warmest of welcomes & next time they're around, i'll contact you again ;)
