We are a family of four - my husband, two kids (girl who is 11 and boy who is 10) and myself. We live in a small university town (where my husband teaches) on the east coast of Canada.
The Majithia's are wonderful guests. They know how . Pronoti arrived with her husband and 2 children (I had a serious doctor's appt. & asked a friend to meet them). I came in once during their stay as I had taken too much with me (they were fine with my coming and lightening my load.) The place was transformed. They had carried with them these beautiful, perhaps Turkish (as Promoti was originally from Turkey) bedspreads. Later, she explained why: the two boys were perhaps 8 & 12 (not sure), these were the bedspreads the family uses at home, so when they travel, they bring them, and the children feel more secure. This is what I'd call good parenting. This is just what parenting books recommend. Her husband is a professor, I believe, and he was there to work at Columbia University. I kept the NY Times coming in, and he took it every morning. Good parenting, highly educated, these are the kind of interesting people I always hope to meet when hosting on airbnb. I helped them park their car, and they paid for my cleaning lady (who comes after they leave) through the airbnb system. I got home and I thought my cleaning lady had already been there. Perfection. Clean. Beautiful. Perfect. What lovely people. What great guests. You will be lucky to have them.
