I'm a full time Nanny who's starting a jewelry business. I'm originally from Ohio and moved here in 2008 to pursue a career in glassblowing, but then the economy crashed. I love animals, the outdoors and Seattle! And long walks on the beach...

Our stay with Brynn and Nick was short but very pleasant. Brynn welcome us into her home right away, showing us where everything was located. She was extremely gracious. Our room was tidy and clean. Brynn and Nick's dog and cats were super adorable and friendly. We have animals at home and were missing them on our long trip - it was nice to play with a friendly pooch. Brynn told us some tips for city traveling and some bars to go to. Their neighborhood is excellent - We would definitely love to stay with them on our next trip to Seattle!
Brynn and Nick were both kind and gracious hosts from the get-go. My girlfriend was feeling ill when we came home on the one evening of our visit and they both offered help! They were very sweet. I only wish that we had more time to get to know them.
Our room was clean and warm, and their dog and cats were quite friendly as well. There's plenty to do within walking distance as well - a big plus in the Seattle area.
I highly recommend paying their home a visit.
Thank you Brynn and Nick for hosting us for New Years in Seattle! We had a great time exploring Fremont, Queen Anne & downtown (home is located in an awesome location, making it easy to walk and drive with tons of parking) on our trip to the Emerald city. We loved seeing Brynn and Nick's art projects and snuggling with their pets, who are adorable and sweet.
This is a very comfortable home and Nick and Brynn are excellent hosts. We enjoyed Nick's stories and knowledge of the Seattle art world in general and his tales of the worldwide glass-blowing scene. Great location for a multitude of activities in the Seattle area. And the best coffee we've ever had is available just a few blocks away at Lighthouse Roasters (the coffee Brynn and Nick offered was good too). The animals were great entertainment!
500 words couldn't do justice to my wonderful month-long stay with Brynn and Nick. Honestly, I am so thankful that they were the ones to welcome me to Seattle. I couldn't have asked for better hosts. Right from the start, they made me feel comfortable and welcome and opened up their home and their arms to me. That feeling really is priceless. Coming home each day to their warm smiles, conversation, a hot pot of tea, and their adorable pets made me forget for a while that I was starting over in a new city, which is more than I hoped for. On the morning of my birthday, I woke up to a beautiful pair of earrings and apple pie that they had gotten for me. That gesture meant the world to me, and I will always be grateful for that. They made it known in many ways that it was important for them to make me feel welcome in their home. I can't thank them enough for that.
I would sincerely recommend that each and every one of you come to stay with Brynn and Nick. They are beautiful people inside and out. And their home is truly a home. It is quaint, cozy, and comfortable. I was sad to leave that glorious bed too. Brynn and Nick have a really fun group of friends as well, so it's a nice way to get to meet new people, if only for the purpose of engaging in some interesting conversation. As for the area, I absolutely fell in love with Fremont. It is such a cool neighborhood. Always something happening, and such a variety in culinary options. There is a tremendous sense of community there too. One Sunday at the Fremont Market, one of the vendors told me to just pay him back next week when I realized I didn't have any cash on me. It seems so basic and simple, but having an encounter like this makes you realize how absent these connections are in our day to day lives. Fremont is a special place though.
All I can say is...go! You will be so glad you did. I'm living in Seattle now, and am determined to keep in touch with Brynn and Nick. Not only were they amazing hosts, they grew into friends. I feel like that something that's unavoidable with people like them.
Thank you so much, Brynn and Nick! My door is always open to you two.
A friend told me about Airbnb and this was my first time as a guest in an Airbnb host's home.
-Close proximity to Fremont dining/shopping area
-Kitchen shelf in cupboard and space in fridge
-Home is on the cool side. (Though when I requested an extra blanket the next day, Brynn was quick to supply one and to offer me a space heater.)
-Couldn't plug in my hairdryer in the bathroom
-Shared bath; there were no schedule conflicts at all with the bathroom, but I just hadn't really thought about it when I was reserving
All in all, I was very grateful to have a friendly home to return to in the evenings and it was great it was so close.
Brynn and Nick were great, they made me feel very comfortable and I was very happy with my stay. The room was exactly as described and was very clean. They were great hosts and I had some great conversations with both of them. They have a number of animals which were all very friendly. I would stay there again.
This was the second time I stayed with Brynn and Nick. I had a better chance to explore the neighbourhood, which is packed with artists' workshops, coffee shops, restaurants, and my favourite music store. I even got to see the troll under the bridge. It's very easy to get to other parts of town by bus: so many routes run on Fremont Ave. Brynn and Nick were once again kind and upbeat. I enjoyed seeing the blown-glass projects Nick is working on, and the jewelry Brynn has made since the last time I saw them.
We had a great stay at Brynn's place. The place is in a great location and easy to find. We loved their pets, especially Ziva, who just had a surgery. Brynn and her boyfriend made every effort to make our stay a great one. The room was quite roomy and really clean. Thank you for a very warm welcome, next time we come by Seattle we will definitely visit again.

My first airbnb experience was warm and pleasant. Nick and Brynn are artists and I fell in love with their passion, their dedication and their work. When you live with them do try to spend some time to understand their journey and you will walk away much rewarded and enriched. I personally wish them much success!
Brynn was really nice! I only saw brynn and her boyfriend in the mornings, but the space was kept really clean and I enjoyed our interactions! Good people for sure!
I have stayed with Brynn in Seattle 6 times in the last 3 years and she is a wonderful, friendly young woman who makes guests feel so welcome in her home. She knows bus routes, where to eat, what to see and do and has the coolest artsy friends. Her neighborhood is friendly, where everyone says hello as they walk past with their dogs and you can actually park your car on the street!!! She is an artist and know art markets, galleries and glass shops to visit and loves the outdoors, so knows great hiking spots, scenic veiws and beaches in this amazing city. Hope to be staying with her again very soon.
