Very sweet and considerate resort owner and a quaint cottage feel to the place. It offers an enclosed back porch overlooking trees which provided a tranquil place to sip coffee, read, and write. The location is on a quiet streen in a community that is equidistant to Alumni Hall, The Corner, and Downtown.
We spent a lovely night at Fry's Spring. The neighborhood is absolutely charming and very well located. We were a short and beautiful drive from local tourist spots. We visited the Barboursville Winery and Ash Lawn as well as the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville proper. Ann was a gracious host and the cats were reservedly friendly, as most cats are! We enjoyed our breakfast in her bright kitchen and great coffee. The well-lit bedroom was comfortable with ample storage in the dresser and closet. We are counting the days when we can return. We highly recommended staying at Fry's Spring.
Ann was a great guest, a good communicator, clean, quiet and respectful of the house rules. She was also flexible with her check-in time which I kindly appreciated it. Thank you for choosing my home during your stay in Ann Arbor!
