We arrived early in the morning and it wasn't a problem to check in early. Kay is a great host. She was very helpful. The room and bed was nice and we loved her sweet cat. She cooked us a lovely diner. It felt like home for us. Thanks Kay!
Overall our stay was great. Although it was a little difficult to find initially, due to the given instructions , the location was perfect. A very central location, it's close to everything. She was more than helpful to give us suggestions and tips and how to get around, where to eat, what to do, etc. When my purse got stolen (which had the keys in it) Kay was so understanding and made sure we had keys for the next day.
Also, her cat checkers, was so adorable and welcomed us with many "meows!"
Kay was a fun and generous host. The apartment is very comfortable and in a good location, a $2 tuk tuk from most places of interest and walking distance to some. Very good value and highly recommended.
Kay was a great host who welcomed us into her home. Easy to find and in a good central location close to main attractions. Also her cat Checkers is the best! Would recommend to anyone
Kay is a super friendly host, kind, relaxed and helpful with recommendations of any kind! The room was excellent as everything else in the apartment. The location is good, nice neighborhood and close to everything you would want to experience. Do stay here, you'll be sure to get a pleasant stay!
the room was spacious and clean. Kay was so welcoming from first site and gave us loads of tips and info about Phnom Penh and its people as well as where to go and eat. Location was great,in the middle of every attraction and things to do.
thanku very much for your kind hospitality,we had a good time.
When I arrived at Kay's place she welcomed me with some warm hearted drinks, a nice chat and later a home cooked dinner. I also enjoyed meeting up a friend of her's over a brunch and a couple of days later the movie in the community center. I'm happy she introduced me in riding on the back of a motorcycle in PP (makes me feel more comfortable with it during the rest of my trip).
The room is quiet, the airco cool, the shower warm (although I prefered cold ones) and the Japanese washing machine did it's job. The climb up to the 3rd floor is a good exercise to keep your condition to the point during holiday.
Last but not least a special dedication to the cat, who's lovely in her own way! Miss her saying hello's in the morning!
We arrived at Kays easily from directions giving $2 tut tut from Riverside where bus from PP drops off. lovely place and talkative cat, s3 flights of stairs but OK if only coming and going once a day. Little out of tourist area but was okay.
Kay is very chilled out girl with plenty of information but hardly seen her as she was working most times. all in all nice experience and thank you Kay for the welcome drink
Good host. Kay is very helpful, sweet and her cat is really playful. Location is ok and the room is very clean. Good choice.
I very enjoyed staying here.
The host is very nice.
Nice kitchen, cute cat, relaxing room.
It was very nice.
Hi. My name's Keogh Johnston, I've known Kay for about 25 years. She's honest, reliable, practical, and has loads of integrity. She has looked after houses/apartments in a number of cities/countries. She's a woman of the world, and yet very down-to-earth. She gets on easily with everyone and is very kind and giving, in fact she has dedicated her working life to helping those in need. I've shared a house with her, and I can vouch for the fact that she is absolutely a breeze to live with.
Kay's apartment in downtown Phnom Penh (BKK1), is close to everything you need like local and Western restaurants, bars, nightlife, cinemas, gyms, shopping and markets (BKK1, Russian, Orussey, and Central), as well as all the main national and international offices and embassies. It's has plenty of local transport at the door: it's 7 minutes to Riverside (Mekong) and 45 minutes to the airport.
The apartment is on the 3rd floor in a secure building. The apartment is large and airy with a/c. It is decked out with all the mod-cons: cable tv, wireless internet, and a fully functional kitchen. I have no hesitation in recommending staying here: you'll love it!
To whom it may concern
I’ve known Kay Lefevre since about 1994 when we worked together for about 6 years. We were both on a couple of work related committees at that time. Since then we have kept occasional contact by email for the last 10 years or so. I visited her in Pnom Penh for about a week only recently, in June.
Kay is a very caring, warm, considerate person who gives a lot of her time to others. She is a very good organiser and completely reliable, decent and sensible in every way. She has a relaxed demeanour. Everyone likes her.
In the past, for a time, she looked after houses while the owners were away. She can be trusted by anyone.
She has taken good care of the place where she stays currently, as I would have expected.
You could not find a better person for this role.
I met Kay During an assignment in Phnom Penh and since then she has become a trusted and valuable friend. Kay has been most helpful in providing accommodation and assistance to me during subsequent visits overseas and we've both had lots of fun fretting around on Kaye's Vespa and enjoying cheap dining experiences. I would recommend Kaye to other members because I have always known her to be reliable, good company and not afraid of a challenge or two.
