I am a clinical neuroscientist who works in the Texas Medical Center. I have faculty appointments at the Baylor College of Medicine and University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
I spend most of my free time reading books, doing home repairs, and riding my bike or walking on trails and through parks.
As a host, I provide a space that is exceptionally clean and overflowing with the basic necessities. I travel a lot for work and have stayed at hundreds of hotels - some great, some horrible. I have learned much from these experiences. I maintain the property myself and take pride in assuring that each guest has a wonderful and carefree stay. I maintain distance for those seeking privacy and who are self-sufficient, but can also be gregarious for those who are new to the area and would appreciate frequent interactions about places to go and things to do.
As a guest, I am very quiet and reserved. I am polite and respectful of other people and their homes. When traveling, I am generally looking for time alone to recharge my batteries, to unplug from work, to walk around neighborhoods and try new restaurants, or to go out onto trails and parks and enjoy the great outdoors.
