We are a young couple without drama, enjoy welcoming guests, showing all the little secrets of Paris.
We like to share our multi-racial cultures and make our guest feel home.
So we got to Scotty's house on 30th dec with a bad cold weather and was the first time for me using AIRBNB system.
Well, after a couple of mail and sms we got out the Tram in south Paris and He was there waitin' for us (super) and Man should never come to quick to conclusion coz we found a really kind host.
We got at the 10th floor of a building in the south cinese quartier in Paris and the house was full of stuff but quite clean.
We got a tiny but good looking room, on the top of a furniture, fresh towels with a soap tablet on top. After taking a shower we just found the room a little bit cold coz the strong cold wind maybe like leakin' through the windows but after plugin' and closing few air ventilations point on the window was ok. (little dirty job). In room there was a clothes hanger and a fan, two chairs and a small table.
They are really nice people and I found later myself in the livin' room with a bunch of nice Japanese people eating delicious Okonomiyaki.
Not bad as It began.. the rest of 4 days we spent there we had also the possibility to buy some food in the supermarket downstairs, and leave it in the refrigeretor where we got a free shelf.
Scotty's mother is a really lovely person I spent little time talkin' with her, very friendly and she helped us in the kitchen.
In the room just some noise from the street downstairs but not too early in the morning, so no problem. People around in the night didn't look so friendly and THIS could be a problem. but it's Paris so..
I liked a lot the first experience with AirBnB coz You get in direct contact with the people livin' in a country and make friends.
Scotty is very polite and kind !
I was satisfied with the room, the location and the cleanliness. I can can fully recommend staying here! Metro is close, fast line, 10 minutes you are at Chatelet which is important! Scotty answered quickly, big thanks!
I would recomend to stay here !

My husband and I stayed at Scotty's apartment and had a perfect long weekend in Paris. His mother Corinne met us at the train station, showed us our bus route, and allowed us to drop our bags off in no time. She gave us a quick tour of the neighborhood, where to change money, metro stops, and the local gallery. The apartment is full of color and culture, with an intimacey that felt like home, and Corrine's company and conversations are my most treasured moments in a fabulous city. Scotty has a beautiful wife and mother, and I hope to see them whenever I come to Paris again.
Scotty and his family were very welcoming and helped show me around the metro system. Very hospitable and also he came to pick me up at the train station. The area is convenient, in chinatown and near the metro. Thanks Scotty!
Scotty was a very pleasant host. He helped my husband and I save money by purchasing a Metro pass for one week instead of daily trips and taxi's. He also took us on a tour of the neighborhood the first day we arrived so we would be acclimated to the area--were the grocery stores and bakery shops were. We feel like we have made friends for a lifetime and hope to visit again in the future. Thanks so much!
Scotty was very organized, relax and clean. He observed all the rules from the apartament.I definitly recommend Him.
