If we have a less than positive experience with a guest, it is preferred to remain silent. Each Airbnb host is as uniquely different in their hosting style as are the homes available. Every guest is entitled to have the experience they wish and desire for their trip and stay-their idea of such may just not be suitable for us. Sometimes an extremely busy time frame will prevent the necessary due diligence to ensure that the persons we are welcoming into our home can understand, appreciate and conform to the comfort level of our daily lives. The true spirit of Airbnb to welcome total strangers into our homes to treat them as their own is extremely personal for each. Unfortunately, this guest and his rowdy group of friends and family chose to blatantly disrespect us, our other guests and neighbors not only during their stay, culminating in what was a disgusting disregard of reporting a problem and nearly creating a costly repair and when asked to leave their last nite with a refund I might add, then decided to terrorize everyone by banging on all of the doors in the household and neighborhood repeatedly at 3am. Who has time to do such a thing while on vacation? Thanks for putting us on notice to be far more thorough about whom we welcome into our homes.
