I enjoy experiencing new things, new places, new cultures. This is the main reason I enjoy airbnb-ing my apartment; it helps me to fund the further exploration of the things I've yet to see, feel, hear, do!

Came to town for work, and Corey's place was perfect. He was out of town, and somehow still managed to be a great host. The bungalow is in a very convenient location just off Sunset, but tucked away and relaxing at the same time. Plus easy to park, and a cute kitty would come by and visit for snuggles.
And he left me a chocolate bar. SOLD.
Corey's bungalow was a nice, homey spot and a good deal for the price. It was clean, quaint, in a great location and equipped with a very friendly visitor--Benny the cat! Corey's communicate was excellent and remarkable considering he was in Switzerland, answering e-mails usually within the hour. The vintage stove had its quirks but was useful enough for my son and I. Off street parking was always available as well. Enjoyable two week stay, thanks Corey!
Staying in this charming Bungalow was the ideal situation for me as a traveler. The location can't be beat: a quiet residential street walking distance from a great cafe and collection of small shops. The bungalow was clean, tastefully decorated and comfortable. Corey was a pleasure to communicate with, making a real effort to get back to me quickly, despite the fact that he was in New Zealand and there was an insane time difference. He went out of his way to recommend runs for me and make sure I had everything I needed during my stay. I hope I get the chance to stay there again next time I head out to LA and would recommend it to a friend in a heartbeat!
Corey's place is an adorable old-school bungalow that is quiet, well-equipped and extremely comfortable. It's also an easy stroll to the best bits of Echo Park, to Elysian Park trails, to Sunset Blvd buses, and a short ride from Union Station (so great if you're doing LA without a car like I was). Best of all were the gorgeous neighbours (people and pets and wildlife). Did not want to go home! Thanks Corey.
Host was super cool and flexible. He made us a list of record stores, bars, and restaurants which were spot on as to what we were looking for.
Corey's place is great.
Quite with fantastic plants out front and all you need.
Corey was easy going and accommodating.
- Comfortable beds
- No street noise at night (pet peeve)
Corey's place has it ALL! From the tempur-pedic bed to the espresso machine...his place is everything that I call "Home". I would love to go back and stay at the cottage again!
Corey's apartment is great and was a good choice. I was here for work and needed somewhere close to Downtown so this worked well for that. The bungalow is a nice size and part of a larger series of bungalows with what seems like a nice group of people. It's a pretty quiet community, it seems, which was fine for me but I would imagine you'd want someone quiet staying here. The apartment itself is a little rustic but cleaned and organized very well. Corey was very responsive in helping me get set up with wireless, keys, etc and as this was a last minute booking, Corey's fast response time was definitely appreciated. Couple of things worth noting - there's parking on the street but if you come home very late (as I did because of work) most of the spaces are gone and you might have to do a bit of walking to get back to the apartment after finding a space. Also, there are a couple of outdoor cats that hang around the apartment, and while I'm a huge cat lover and they were a great addition to my stay, I would imagine that if you don't like cats, this may not be the place for you. Overall, it was a great place and a good choice.
