Southern guy living in Merida for five years. Moved to Merida from NYC where I had a vintage clothing shop, specializing in exceptional period vintage. My life in Merida is such a change from the crazy NYC life. I spend most days working in my garden or on the house. These old houses made of stone always need work, it never ends. After moving to Merida I began studying pipe organ after not playing for almost 30 years. I'm now involved with rescue and restoration of antique pipe organs in Mexico.
Update: After seven years in Merida, I felt the call of the wild and headed for the jungle. Well, sorta, Im now enjoying life in a sleepy mayan village, comsumed with gardening and developing my little one room eco hotel. It's a work in progress at this time but hope to add one or two more guest palapas in the next year and add more and more tropical and exotic plants and trees.
