I am a student herbalist, bushcraft enthusiast, musician and sound engineer living in the gourmet and fun capital of Ireland, Kinsale. I live in the middle of Kinsale and spend most of my time foragging and processing wild food and medicine, camping or in the studio recording music. Life is nice.
I don't get to travel much as my life is very intensely focused where I live so it is nice to meet travellers from around the world who come here. You can travel the world without ever having to leave home.
I love music, nature, wild places, I read a lot when i have the time, walk for endless miles, do yoga and meditation every day, love meeting new people. I'm currently reading "Woman on the edge of time" and the last film that i watched and loved was "Man on a Wire". Favourite muisc of late would be Regina Spektor and lisa Gerrard.
I love the edge of wild forraging. I don't know from day to day what I will be eating and what i might find, there are no tomatoes or carrots or cabbage; but there is so much more, always different, always alive and so intimately connected with the weather and the subtle fluctuations of local terrestrial moods. This aliveness is what I live for. Supermarkets just dont give me the same thrill, somehow.....
