Sarah booked this apartment a few hours before moving in and was told the apartment was not completely ready since a long term tenant renting it unfurnished has left recently, All required people had to scramble to get the apartment cleaned and ready a few hours after she contacted the host. Sarah was offered a bed frame but prefered to get a discount without the bed frame, she was told the bed frame could be provided but by the next day. but didnt request it and still complained about not having a bed frame. Sarah complained about the kitchen being small, but the size of the kitchen is reflected 100% on the picture and reflected on the price of the apartment, making the apartment very affordable compared with the rest of downtown toronto and little italy. it has only all the basics for cooking as explained on the ad, nothing more. Sarah requested various items that were provided in a timely manner(same day) including appliances but said that host was uncooperative. Sarah requested to stay one day extra on the last day of her stay, without proper notice, after the cleaning schedule was booked for that day that was supposed to leave, creating inconvenience in terms of planing and possible late checkin for the next guest possibly causing inconvenience to the next guest that was planed to move in.
Sarah was still offered to stay one extra day but later in the day refused to do so.
The apartment has the blinds as seen on the pictures, in canada shutters are not commonly installed as in europe, canadian guests are used to sleep without shutters but with blinds. Sarah never complained about the lack of shutters, a dark blind could have been installed upon request since it was available.
A desk/dining table was provided (different from the picture).
I don't understand how can the host be considered uncooperative if it provided all the items requested by the guest and tried to adapt to the last minute requests (reservation done just hours before checkin, requesting an extra day in the last day of stay).
