Accessories designer and former gallery owner exhibiting modern art of the l960's and young 1990's artists. Licencing coordinator for family trademark. Enjoy hosting guests and introducing them to the Westport waterfront community.
Suzanne is a warm, lovely host who goes out of her way continually: leaving a basket of tea cakes and fruit in your room; offering wine and cheese in the evening, and delicious eggs and croissant in the morning. The room, high above green fields and the nearby long island sound, is a peaceful retreat from the bustle of life, inviting walks, rest, and contemplation.
Thank you, Suzanne, for your elan and unparalleled hospitality!
I had the pleasure of staying with my Scottish Terrier Tavish, at Suzanne's home on a hilltop overlooking the LI Sound in Westport, CT. Suzanne gave us an impeccable greeting, with a nice bottle of wine and made us feel welcome and comfortable (Tavish got ground beef!). Her room was large and comfortable. Her art collection is varied an excellent. She has a full time gardner who keeps the large property well groomed. She and Tavish got along splendidly and Tavish enjoyed 'hanging out' with her. Breakfast looking out on her garden was delightful.
One more comment - When I needed guidance Suzanne helped me find homes for several indoor trees that I had to be moved quickly. Suzanne's assistance was helpful and above and beyond the role of a B&B hostess.
Suzanne is a kind host and was very gracious in inviting us to her home and making us feel comfortable. She provided a bottle of wine and offered to cook us breakfast. That said, the accomodations were not great; the room was musty and the bed was not comfortable.

Suzanne is a fantastic host. When we arrived late on Friday night, Suzanne was waiting up for us with a bottle of wine and crackers with cheese. We talked for what must have been a couple of hours, and then woke up the next morning to a full continental breakfast with french toast. Since we had never been to Westport before, Suzanne drove us around town a bit to show us the best spots, and made us feel quickly at home.
As you can see from the pictures in her listing, the property is gorgeous and verdant, and it's only a short walk to the sea. We had a lovely experience all around, and would come back at the drop of a hat.
Suzanne makes for a lovely visit, breakfast, and comfort. Very accommodating just tell her your likes and dislikes. If you like hats, all the better! Buy some of her past collections at greatly reduced prices.
I had a great time staying at Suzanne's. She has a lovely accommodation that is a bit separate from the house, very private and a lovely view of Long Island Sound. Suzanne is extremely considerate of her guests needs and a lot of fun to be with.
Suzanne was really welcoming and her house is very nice.
The area is lovely and easy to reach from Manhattan.
We'll come back for sure !
Yes I agree with all previous reviews. Suzanne is a very generous and welcoming hostess and her house is indeed full of extremely interesting artifacts and antiques. Westport is an excellent destination for families and the proximity to the beach makes Bluewater Hill ideally placed for visitors. Suzanne goes out of her way to make her guests feel welcome in her home.
Suzanne is a generous host who truly enjoys opening her home to guests. She drove us to and from the train station and offered us rides when it was raining. She knows a great deal about the neighborhood and loves to share.
Suzanne is a lovely, attentive host. She is there to cater to your every need. It was a wonderful stay, I do wish I had more time there.
