Response from Laura:
Wow. Nasty voice mails? In all sincerity, Emily, please think about how you would feel if you showed up at a building at 10:45 PM after a long day of travel, you couldn't get in, and no one whose contact number you received answered their phones for an hour and a half. You'd probably leave a voice mail in a stressed out voice saying "PLEASE call me back, I can't figure out how to get in!" as well.
I can tell you're mad about receiving a poor review, but I had a very poor experience. If you had picked up your phone, you could have explained your "dummy proof" lock to me and I would have had a great experience. I'm very sorry to hear about your relative, but again, I was stuck outside your house for 30 minutes because no one responded to my knocks, calls, or texts, and thought I'd had to go somewhere else.
I wrote you a bad review because I had a bad experience. Period. That's how this site works. I followed every other instruction you gave for your guests, and I even explained that if I'd been able to get in correctly, I'd have had a good experience. It sounds like you don't care about honesty from your guests, just good reviews so you can go on making money. On that note, I hope I never have to hear from you again.
