François and Kamel were both wonderful hosts. They were friendly and fun to hang out with, very accommodating and laid back. The apartment itself is adorable. It's wonderfully decorated and such a cosy, comfortable space. And the location is fantastic, *right* on Wickenden street (great artsy neighborhood with lots of good restaurants, bars, coffee houses, boutiques, etc.). They let me use their in-house washer and drier, which was a godsend by the end of my vacation. If you stay here, I'd recommend quick showers, the building is older and doesn't have a ton of hot water. The bed itself was very comfy and I was greeted with a welcoming setup in my room of fresh flowers, a selection of teas, and a map of the city. This is an LBGT-friendly space.
Tastefully decorated, cozy and nice apartment. Our hosts F. and K. were mostly not at home but they were very nice people and were very helpful.
François' room was comfortable and appealing. Although I didn't get to see him much, my stay was pleasant.
Very comfortable, very hospitable, had a wonderful stay.
Francois was very friendly and accommodating and his apartment is clean and very handy to Wickenden Street and Hope street. I highly recommend this spot!
My girlfriend and I went to Providence to participate at a conference in Brown University and decided to stay at François' place. It was very clean, quiet, and nicely decorated. The bed in the room was very comfortable, and we had plenty of room for our luggage and closet space.
François was a very welcoming host: he made parking arrangements for us, and gave us all sorts of tips for places to have brunch and dinner, which did not disappoint at all!
The place is within walking distance to the university, and surrounded by great restaurants and shops.
Should we have to go back to Providence, we would definitely stay at François again.
Despite us having conflicting schedules so we hardly even saw each other during his stay, François was very friendly and courteous. He kept the shared bathroom just as clean as myself and even made up the bed when he left. François is the ideal guest.
What a joy to have stayed at Francois’s. The bedroom is charming and the bed very comfortable. There is room to put away your stuff and I loved the interior design. I felt right at home. Besides, the entire apartment is well kept and very bright.
I didn’t know Providence before my trip. It’s a very nice town to walk around and see the historical town houses as well as campuses of Brown and RISD.
François was an amazing host. He recommended me lots of very good places to visit, and told me where to have a drink, a nice dinner, and the “must-do” of Providence! He also told me where to find the best brownie of Rhode Island (simply delicious!)
