Fabrice's place was absolutely fantastic!! It was spotless clean. We loved the neighbourhood. His recommendations of restaurants were great as well. We definitely will be back at his place again! I won't stay anywhere else in Montreal from now on. Thanks so much Fabrice.
Fabrice place is a lovely second floor apartment, clean and spacious. I personally love the decor and enjoy the sunlit living room. It's location is perfect as it is located in a quiet street but next to a vibrant area with lots of good places to eat. If you are looking for Montreal charm and a convenient location for touristy visits without being stuck downtown, I would highly recommend staying here.
We stayed at Fabrice's apartment during a farewell to summer, Labour Day long weekend adventure and had an excellent time. It is on the third storey of a beautiful, ivy-covered brick home with the classic Montreal spiral staircase. In late August, the ivy had berries (only birds should eat these). The neighbourhood was quiet and friendly, very well situated, just off the separated bike lane of Rue Rachel. Close to excellent bakeries, La Maison des Pâtes Fraîches, Café Neve, La Maison des Cyclistes and the interesting Bar A. Easy to bike everywhere. We checked our bikes in baggage from Toronto on the VIA so this was important to us. The apartment itself was clean and orderly with great light. Spacious. Yes, there is central air, which is nice during the humid days of summer. Fabrice is easy-going and minimal. We recommend.
Fabrice's place was wonderful! It's a perfect location, nearby lots of shops and restaurants and easy to walk nearly anywhere in the city. It's clean, comfortable, and quiet. Fabrice recommended the croissants from the nearby Boulangerie Les Co'Pains d'Abord and they were amazing! It was a perfect place for us.
We really enjoyed staying at fabrice's pad for 4 nights. The space was large, organized and clean. Very minimalist in decor but with sufficient amenities. Loved the hardwood floors! Brightly lit, lots of windows, and a great neighborhood. We had fresh croissants every morning from the various bakeries and ate dinner at some of the French Canadian fusion restaurants. Although we never met, fabrice had great recommendations over email. Plateau is a walkable neighborhood and within easy biking distance from downtown and the tourist sites. Highly recommended.
I did not meet Fabrice in person, but our communication was easy and relatively quick. The apartment is fairly roomy. I am picky about cleanliness and I was pleasantly shocked by how tidy and clean the apartment was. The location is really great. You're not downtown, but rather in a really great neighborhood. I actually prefer being in a more local location. The apartment is 2-3 blocks from a really big park. Plenty of choices within walking distance for food and coffee. We were very happy with the stay! I highly recommend Fabrice's place!
Fabrice's place was awesome. This is without a doubt a hidden gem in the best neighborhood in Montreal. Super clean apartment with everything you need. Fabrice was extremely quick to reply with any questions I had. The nights were quiet as were the mornings which was really important to us. We hope to get back to Montreal next summer so I hope Fabrice is still renting out his apartment then.
