Life loving mother of twin 6 year old boys. Busy professional life.
Married to Chris and living on 50 acres near the beautiful village of Federal.
We stayed at Ndoto on our Honeymoon and it was everything we wanted it to be! Secluded, modern but cosy and in a magnificent setting (seriously, the views around this part of the world are stunning). The cottage is very well appointed (email hidden) to be in. In addition to this, there is plenty to see and do in the area and many great places to eat.
Kim and her husband Chris are top rate hosts! They are very very welcoming and generous. We were sad to say goodbye and hope to stay again in the future!
I can't recommend Ndoto highly enough!
Thank you Chris and Kim for providing such a beautiful retreat in Ndoto cottage. Surrounded by such spectacular landscape it was truely a pieceful experience. We stayed 3 nights but wish it could have been much longer.
The cottage itself is decorated beautifully and is very accomodating.
Chris and Kim both make you feel very welcome and are just a stones throw away if you need anything. Our experience was a fantastic one and we highly recommend Ndoto for anyone seeking a relaxing escape.
Response from Kim:
Thank you Stacy for the wonderful review. It is really helpful for us.
Take care and we hope to see you again another time.
Great location close to Federal, Bangalow and everything else. We really enjoyed having our own space and veranda. The bbq works really well and the kitchen is well kitted out. It was great being able to take our dog with us. It was just what we were looking for, for our 2nd year anniversary. And we found a waterhole to swim in a few minutes away from the property. Perfect!A shame we didn't get to meet the hosts. Thank you for letting us stay when you were away:)We'll be back!
Quiet and peaceful farm stay. Welcoming flowers and goodies in the fridge were a pleasant surprise. Spent our time around the pool and enjoying the tranquility and the novelty of the farm animals.
Response from Kim:
Happy New Year Grant and Carol. Hope you had a good one!!
And thank you, foot fully recovered now. Back running marathons (only kidding)!
Kind regards, Kim
We loved staying in the truly beautiful Cottage! When we arrived beautiful yellow flowers were thoughtfully placed as well as lots of food and beverages! Kim and Chris thought of many details to make our trip so wonderful and so memorable! The Cottage is the perfect Romantic getaway surrounded by beauty everywhere. We are very grateful to the hosts for making our stay so comfortable. I would highly recommend this location to stay. It is in the heart of many wonderful places and makes touring round easy and fun to do! The bed is comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom are fantastic. We loved cooking dinner outside on the BBQ and eating on the veranda watching the lama's and other animals on the property. Quite simply this (email hidden) to stay because it is stunning and comfortable and Chris and Kim are really kind people! Thanks for having us! We'd loved staying in your beautiful Cottage!
This is the perfect place for a relaxing romantic weekend away! The cottage is a 25-30 minute scenic drive away from the beach at Byron Bay, hidden in the mountains.
Kim and Chris were wonderful hosts and gave some great recommendations for places to see and eat nearby. Highly recommended!
Our stay was truly amazing. The space is gorgeous, with all the mod cons you could need. The stunning scenery provided a luxurious backdrop to a very romantic weekend. Kim and Chris were fantastic – thanks for all the beautiful touches and lovely extras. I would recommend to anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of ‘real life’. Will definitely come back.
The cottage is such a lovely little haven to escape from everything!
The animals are also a delight :)
Thanks for such a welcoming stay!
Ndoto was beautifully relaxing. The cottage is close to the main house of the property where Kim and her family live, but it's as private as you desire. You can hang out undisturbed or chat with the family (or the chooks, ducks, Alpacas, cows) depending on how you feel. We felt very looked after. Kim left bacon and eggs and muesli for us and refreshed the eggs every couple of days. the kitchen has pots and pans etc and we borrowed a couple of extra bits from the family. you need to take food there as it's not close to shops/cafes etc which is part of it's delight.
The bath is lovey and every morning we would sit out on the deck and take in the world.
We had an excellent stay and our daughter loved spending time with the two boys of the farm. It's a 30 minutes drive from Byron Bay but the road is lined with luscious trees.
it has everything you need for a nice private weekend away.
the accommodation was well appointed with every detail thought out by kim and chris
a very generous breakfast was provided; lots of towels; bathrobes; and nice bed linen
highly recommended as a romantic escape especially if you enjoy sitting on a verandah looking at trees mountains cows and alpacas!
