Joanne is an excellent host. She made me feel welcome personally, as well as by the space she provided and her willingness to share space with me. I am so pleased I chose her and would definitely consider staying with Joanne again when I return to Santa Fe.
beautiful home and area, wonderful dogs and very cozy. the bed is super comfortable and you'll melt away and sleep like a baby.
We had a great stay with Joanne and her dogs. Joanne is a wonderful women, who took time with us to explain Santa Fe and New Mexico. The house is beautiful and the Guest Room and bathroom are great. We used the well equipped Kitchen and BBQ ( You must ask her about the Green Chile sausages). We would not hesitate to reserve with Joanne, again.
Joanne's home is beautiful, private, and clean. She is the perfect host and her dogs are delightful. Our room was right next to our bathroom and both were great.
An outstanding option! Joanne is a wonderful host. The bedroom and bath are well-equipped, comfortable and the home gracious. The brevity of this review is only because there are few superlatives that do not apply here.
I truly loved staying with Joanne. I can't recommend staying with her more highly. I visit Santa Fe often for work and prefer to stay a bit outside the city center for a more relaxing stay. The beauty of El Dorado is incredible while only being an easy, short drive- about 20-25 minutes to the plaza.
As a hostess, Joanne is great! She is sweet and very helpful. The accommodations are clean, cozy and homey- I spent a lot of time soaking in every sunset I could in her backyard.
My husband and I highly recommend Joanne's lovely home for your next stay in Santa Fe. Joanne is a friendly, gentle presence. Her dogs, Lobo and Luna, added to our enjoyment, as we saw wagging tails on each return from sightseeing. The bedroom and bath are comfortable. The southwestern colors and décor in her home added to our visit. Although we only cooked breakfast (eager to get out there and see this beautiful part of the world), Joanne offers her well-appointed kitchen for any and all meals that guests may want to cook. We enjoyed coffee on her patio, watching humming birds and looking at the expanse of desert land leading up to the mountains. Beautiful sunrises. Joanne's location is in easy access to downtown Santa Fe (about a 20 minute drive). Natural areas (Bandelier National Monument, Tent Rocks, area pueblos) are also easily accessible. Thank you, Joanne. We wish you all the best.
Joanne was one of the best hosts we have ever encountered on Airbnb. She was extremely communicative before we booked, answering all our questions right away and ensuring we would arrive at a mutually convenient time. Her home was beautifully decorated, and she offered tea/coffee every morning.
Another sentence starting with Joanne: She was a generous and remarkable host. We neglected to rent a car, which was silly, but Joanne offered to drive us to the bike shop, supermarket, and trailheads of interest. She gave us trail maps, and even lent us yoga mats. Her dogs are wonderfully behaved and sweet. The back porch has stunning mountain views and hummingbirds galore. I could not recommend Joanne's place more highly.
Communication was pleasant and prompt although I did not stay with her after all. I extended my earlier stay with my friend in her home.
Joanne is such a lovely person - a wonderful hostess and overall kind soul! Her home is beautiful and her guest wing was perfect for our stay.
The neighborhood is just a little outside Santa Fe- but its a quick drive with gorgeous views... so, who cares!!
Joanne's place out there in El Dorado is terrific, and Joanne—if Joanne had been the host at every B & B or inn or hotel I ever spent the night at, my traveling life would have been a whole lot richer. An extraordinary person—warm, kind, real—who makes everyone feel good immediately.
Staying at Joanne's home is an authentic New Mexico experience. Her adobe home is surrounded by an endless expanse of sky and nature. Indoors she has the most comfortable, artistic and cozy decor. She welcomes me and my boyfriend into her home every year for the Santa Fe Century bike ride and makes us feel like we're staying at an intimate bed and breakfast. She's so welcoming and warm but is also willing to give us space in a private room with it's own bathroom.
Joanne has opened her home to many guests over the years and everyone adores staying with her. We ride our bikes from her home into downtown Santa Fe or it's about a 10 or 15 minute trek in the car. After enjoying all the splendor of Santa Fe it's refreshing to head into Joanne's neighborhood which is so quiet that you can hear the coyotes howling and see a blanket of stars above your head (hitting up the Eldorado flea market was also a radical adventure last year).
I highly recommend staying here when you venture into Santa Fe; you will want to come back!
