Sharon was a wonderful host. She made us feel welcomed and warm. Right in the best spot in Portland next to a wonderful park Sharons home is a great place to stay! Thank you Sharon for the hospitality!
It's great. Located near Burnside ave, which was near to most places with restaurants and supermarkets.
The house was in a very nice neighborhood with easy access to public transportation. The house was clean and the pets were no bother at all. Barely knew they were there.
However the bathroom situation left a bit to be desired. I saw two bathrooms in the listing and assumed I would get my own. The upstairs bathroom didn't have a shower and so the host and I used both the upstairs and downstairs bathroom. A bit more privacy would have made the stay better and having my own bathroom would have topped off the experience
My listing states that there are two bathrooms and there are. It also states that the bathrooms are shared so that's an important fact to note about my listing. If you require a private bathroom, this is not the place for you.
Sharon made my wife and I feel very comfortable in her home! Not only was she kind but provided us with info on Portland which was very nice. Our trip to Portland was a quick in and out for 2 days which meant we were out from early morning until late night so we didn't see Sharon other than the first day. That being said, our stay at her home was refreshing and made our stay in Portland feel more personal than a hotel would have.
Sharon and I kept in touch before my arrival and during my stay. The room and the whole house was very nice and cozy. And it's in a very nice neighborhood. Sharon also gave me tips about touring around portland, and a bunch of books and magazines to read about Portland. Sharon is very kind and sweet, and this is my best airbnb stay ever - just feel like home.
Sharon was a very friendly and gracious host. Her home is in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood and the house has a great "Portland / Berkeley" vibe. The room and bed were comfortable even with a heat wave passing through Portland at the time of my visit. It made for a very nice 6 day visit to Portland.
Great Location for biking and experiencing everything Portland has to offer. Loved the local parks and cafes. Sharon was very accommodating to our busy schedule while in Portland. Can't wait for our next visit.
Sharon was the kindest and most welcoming host. She gave my friend and me excellent recommendations for activities, restaurants, and sights, as well as how to access public transportation. The house and neighborhood were lovely and within walking distance to some of Portland's liveliest areas. This was my first time using Airbnb, and I'll definitely do it again!
This Place is just beautiful! The room is in a Big home Full of memories and stories, staying here felt Like home. The Room is spacious and clean and really great.
The neighborhood is Calm and pretty and It is just a 5 Minutes Walk to Cafés and Restaurants.
Sharon was so Nice! She Gave us lots of Information about the Area, and we had a really Great Time! One of the Most beautiful Stays we have had on Our Trip.
Sharon, Tim, Jody, (Chris, Nikki, and their pup Moses) were all great guests. I was so excited to have them stay...Sharon is the first Airbnb Host that has stayed at my place! The communicated their plans with me and respected my home and belongings. They left a nice note for me the day they left. I would highly recommend them and would love to have them back any time! Also if I make it out to Portland, I will be contacting Sharon for a place to stay!
