Response from Federico:
I am sorry you received a quite negative feedback from my side, I am sure it is not easy to keep clean a place with many people coming and going.but I think I was honest on what I found. I trust you if you say it happens seldom. Almost all other feedbacks were positive and that is why we chose your place.
Just to point out:
1- This is my 3rd time to London. I know accomodations are usually small and I did appreciate parquet instead of fitted carpet, so this is what I expected. I did not expect a toilet in those conditions. We preferred to use toilets in bars and restaurants instead of the one in the flat when possible, so if you were looking for responsible of the mess, I thnk you knocked the wrong door. Toilet was in the same conditions for 3 days, honestly, did anyone clean it?
2- As far as check in is concerned: I said we would arrive at 8.30 pm and we got there before 9. Is this "really late"? If Tom was "getting desperate" he could just send me an sms, we always communicated very quickly and I would reply to him immediately.
3- Most important: I am SURE we did not leave any door open while leaving (my girlfriend though she had left her shampoo and wanted to go back, but door was closed...). And the only moment we had our shoes on in the flat was when we checked in. Sorry guys, but I think these "wide open door" and "muddy shoes"are just excuses in reply to a bad feedback. We are polite and clean people and so respectful about other people's houses. My mistake was not to bring out shoes box where we collected our rubbish, for this I beg your pardon.
In my feedback I wrote if you don't care much about some details and look just for a cheap and well positioned place to visit a wonderful city, I would recommend your flat. Otherwise, you should spend some little money more and find another place, this is what I believe and what I will do next time in London.
