The owner, me, is a young man at heart in my early thirties and a independent business man with a hunger for traveling.
Peter's Apartment is situated on a great street in the heart of Vesterbro - only a 10 minute walk to the train station. It's very convenient to use as a base while touring around Copenhagen. There are several terrific cafes and restaurants in the area, including an array of good options in the meat packing district. The apartment itself was very clean and spacious and best of all had a very comfortable bed and warm duvet. Although Peter was out of town during my arrival, his friend Camilla was very helpful and even showed me around Copenhagen! I would highly recommend staying in Peter's apartment. I appreciated all the soaps and shampoos that were left for me as well as the handy maps and restaurant recommendations. The few downsides of the apartment are that the floors creak easily and noise can be heard from the neighbouring apartments at certain hours of the night. The bathroom is also very awkward for showering as it does not contain a separation from the toilet other than a curtain. I did get used to the tight space however, but did not like the fact that the water fills up the entire bathroom floor. The last drawback is that there are a lot of stairs up to the apartment. That wasn't a problem for me, but it might be for some other people. Despite those few issues, I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Peter's apartment is super cool (and he seems super cool too, he met us to give us the keys). A few things that you should be willing to accept: a number of flights of stairs, a double bed (I'd forgotten how I'm used to a queen size), and a small shower. And to get anywhere conveniently, you really need to rent a bike (which is nearby, easy and cheap). I'd think it's rather a long walk otherwise. Oh, and the walls are a bit thin and I'm not sure what the scratching noise from the upstairs neighbours was!
In return for this, you get to stay in a super stylish place with comfy sheets and bedding, bright and modern. We loved Peter's style and the themes of trees and wildlife, and the lighting. The whole effect was both cozy and chic at the same time. The neighbourhood is great, just to wander around the second-hand shops, go to some trendy restaurants and have coffee and pastries in the morning. With a ten-minute walk from central station, you'll be there quickly, and as I said, cycling around from here to anywhere in Copenhagen is easy.
What a great apartment! So clean, great part of town, perfect size for 1 or 2 people, super quiet, uncluttered. Peter was a nice organised host who even left a little map. There is no separate shower in the bathroom but it didnt bother me as it was well designed. I would happily stay here 100 times again (and get plump from the amazing Sicilian ice cream across the road).
The apartment was very clean and well-designed. The area is very cute with nice stores and restaurants. Peter himself was kind and helpful. I would highly suggest staying at Peter's abode.
Very stylish and cozy apartment, Peter is very nice to prepare some info of Copenhagen for us, thanks!
The location is near to the central station around 5 - 8 mins walk, the environment is quite and clean, got cafe and restaurant just down stairs. Good place to stay especially for young ppl.
Great little apartment in a cool area with easy access to lots of restaurants and bars. Peter is a really nice guy who is very accommodating and helpful too.
Me and my partner we spent a week in Peter's lovely apartment! For us it was our third time in Copenhagen so we selected this apartment because we already knew the neibourghood and its charm. The location is perfect and we've discovered and rediscovered the Vesterbro. Peter is the perfect host, organized and gave us some fresh tips :). We loved the Eames Chairs and the warm light inside the apartment! Thank you Peter!
We stayed five nights at Peter's and it was very quiet all the time. It's very conveniently located. The atmosphere of the neighborhood is very authentic. The size of the flat is ok for two, the photos perfectly reflect the space and the character of the flat. We really enjoyed our stay!
Really recommendable! With Peter I had a fast and easy communication. The apartment is perfectly located and very comfortable. Everything you need is there, in a very good condition.
I stayed for 4 nights and would go there again if I´m in Copenhagen.
Great place, very close to all the action in Copenhagen, was just perfect for 6 day stay. Thanks for a great apt. Peter! All you need for a nice stay in Copenhagen.
It certainly was a pleasure hosting Peter and Jeanett. They were very considerate and thoughtful guests. Peter e-mailed us prior to their arrival, keeping us posted as to exactly when they would be arriving. We really appreciate this kind of thoughtful communication. Upon arrival they took time to chat with us before we took them up to the carriage house. What a warm and friendly couple! After touring and visiting some of our local restaurants they shared their experiences with us which was very helpful. We will share this valuable information with our future guests. This will make us better hosts. During their stay they came and went so quietly that we hardly knew they were there. When they left the carriage house was very neat and tidy. They spoke to us again before departing. We found them to be friendly and engaging. We wish all of our guests were this nice! Since we started hosting on airbnb, Peter and Jeanett were among our favorite guests. We only regret that they could not have stayed longer. We hope they come again soon!
Hosting Peter in my apartment here in Paris was a real pleasure. Everything was perfect throughout the whole process. He will always be most welcome again! Thanks for your trust when booking with me and also thanks for leaving the place in such perfect condition!! See you hopefully again next time you´re coming to the city of lights. Merci! Justin
