My wife and I have just moved to Switzerland earlier this year to try out life in Helvetia again after spending pretty much ten years abroad working on projects in the United States and in Japan. That's a return for me as I grew up in the area (the gorgeous Vevey, very close by) and a first for my Osaka-born-and-bred better half.
After running public events for a Swiss public-private partnership office in San Francisco that focuses on science & technology promotion ((website hidden)) I am now managing the development of an art-tech building and series of programs for the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology here in Lausanne ((website hidden)), while my spouse gets cosy with the French language and the subtleties of the local accent.
Both my wife and I travel quite a bit and got to use AirBnb several times while on the road in the U.S. Now that we're back in Europe and landed one of the sweetest spots in town (in our opinion at least) we're looking forward to sharing it with fellow travelers.
We are pretty busy in our daily lives, but we are also quiet, respectful, very friendly and up for any great conversation - we'll love to listen to your stories and hopefully will have some of our own to match up.
