Response from Kris:
I don't feel there was any issue in the communication, and the timing and quality of the communication is inaccurate in this description. I'm an English snob, so I take slight offence to this considering the atrocious grammar and spelling.
If anyone is curious about this difference in opinion, I can send you a screenshot of all of our communication upon request, no problem. Hollie did receive a response from me before I arrived, and replied, "Sure the Cleaning lady is here now and will be done by 1 pm. You cqn [sic] pick the key up from the lock box anytime after 1 and the place will be yours then." from Hollie. As such, I think it's disingenuous to allege I "suddenly appeared".
I also did clearly state, "Don't bite me" when the dog bit me and Hollie called it back. It's a small dog, it didn't puncture anything. The constant barking by 3 dogs all morning and night was a larger issue for me, but likely not an issue for some.
I did not complain that this single room has no working bathroom door, which has a shared bathroom with the house, so it's not an independent apartment as suggested/requested. One of her other tenants in the shared house did offer to lock her side of the bathroom for the remainder of my stay.
I said my cell phone died so I couldn't remember where to place the key while moving, so I emailed Hollie as soon as I got to my new place/internet. I think this is reasonable.
It's strange that even if these allegations were accurate, I don't think they are worth documenting as inappropriate. Anyway, I wish Hollie all the best and aside from these caveats, it's cheaper than a hotel.
