Hello my name is Isobel ,
I look forward to welcoming you my Victorian Garden apartment !
please feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding my listing .
We stayed isobel's flat from Oct to Jan. Isobel's flat is a traditional british flat in south area of London. Not modern but clean and charm. Location is a little far from centre of london but there are many buses to go (website hidden)'s a pretty big flat in calm and good town. Mom and 7 years boy live on the second floor.Even though it was easy to hear to the little boy's step around, they're very familiar and lovely family.
Big bath, big kitchen, lovely front room, functional TV,good working WIFI. We satisfied with all of these.
Isobel is a nice host. We couldn't see beautiful flower because it was winter. But if you stayed here, you would enjoy a beautiful garden. If my friends asked me a flat in london,I would definitely recommand.
Isobel is a lovely host, she's always up to help if you need. Her flat is beautiful and comfortable, it has everything you need for needs and having a good time. Transport is easy, it's near New Cross Gate for the Overground or you have many buses in Old Kent Rd. Recommended a lot.
The reservation was canceled 64 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
We stayed at Isobel's place for six weeks, it was a wonderful introduction to London. The house is very cozy, everything you might need is there and the garden is very nice although when we stayed there it snowed. The kitchen is fully equipped, the sitting room is very comfortable and exactly as you see in the pictures. Isobel was very helpful and gave us a very warm welcome. Easy commute to the city centre, we suggest using buses nearby. We definitively would recommend this place to friends!
Everything was just perfect, we really enjoyed our trip to London. Transport connections were awesome: overground station is 10 min walking and the trains go straight to the center (London Bridge); bus stop is even closer and buses go almost anywhere you want (st. Paul's, trafalgare square, Westminster). When we were late for the trains in the center it took us no more then 10 min to find a bus stop from which the bus would drive us home. There are a couple of pubs near the station, and Sainsbury's store is also there.
Isobels apartment was great, it was lovely to have room to spread out after travelling for 6 weeks. She was very helpful and gave us great tips for area for eating and transport. Wonderful to have a kitchen and somewhere to wash clothes. Trains from New Cross gate into city were very quick and frequent, just about 10 min walk to station. Would definitely recommend.
We really enjoyed our stay at Isobel's apartment. It was very comfortable and spacious with easy access and transportation connections to central London. Isobel was very helpful and thoughtful and she was very flexible and patient when we arrived late after getting caught in Friday evening London traffic! Wonderful flat and we would recommend it to anyone for a short easy stay in London
My son and I stayed here for three days last week while visiting the sights of London. Transportation to central London was fairly quick and easy via Overground from New Cross Gate with transfer to Jubilee line at Canada Water. The single pullout in the living room allowed us to have separate sleeping areas which worked well. The beds are very comfortable. We had a bit of noise from upstairs neighbors one night, but overall we found it to be a very good experience.
Isobel's flat was wonderful! There were no problems with anything and she was very helpful getting us settled in. The location was also excellent for the cost. We stayed at Isobel's for a week while we looked for our own flat so we didn't do any touristy things. We liked the neighbourhood so much we decided to move just down the street. We'd definitely recommend this place for a relaxed stay in London.
Isobel was a great host, very kind. She gave us a lot of useful information and tips about London.
The house is really nice, clean and luminous. It felt like home. The kitchen is great if you want to cook your own meals and there is a supermarket 10mn away (by foot). You even have a garden if the weather is good to drink a tea while enjoying a patch of grass.
Every touristic attraction is easily accessible, 15/20mn of public transport. You only need to take the train to either London Bridge or Canada Water station, then you can travel alongside the Jubilee and Central line. You may also use the bus, but we only took the train/tubes.
Also, you can come home until pretty late (1 am). Later than that, you have the bus or the cab. From central london, we paid 18 pounds to get home with a cab.
A great house that we heartily recommended to everyone !
