We have a great time in Wendy"s house.
She was very kindly and helpful.
We will get back again.
It is an absolute delight to have the opportunity to stay with Sandy. Sandy is a great host and she is friendly and very accommodating. Sandy waited up for us as our flight from Chicago arrived late in the night. The house is huge. Kitchen is assessible to all guests for light meals. The house and rooms are clean and comfortable. I would recommend this accommodation. Thank you Sandy for your kind hospitality.
This property makes the trip even better. Very well located grand , clean and organized. Sandy is a wonderful host and has all prepared for your convenience. I would definitely stay again.
Sandy was waiting at the door when I arrived. I was in and out a lot and she made it very easy for my stay in Vancouver. The room was clean and comfortable
Really nice house. One thing I wish I'd been aware of that you are sharing walls with permanent tenants on either side.
Sandy was a great host. The house is really clean and big.
Amazing place so great !
Dream castle, as advertised! Sandy was a very sweet lady and she was waiting for us to arrived in her office when we walked in. She showed us our room, private bathroom and gave us some contact information and where to park on her premises.
The shared living room holds a very nice leather couch and a small Insignia TV (not smart) and it is hooked up to Shaw basic cable, with a few sports, history and Food channels.
The kitchen offered a giant Fridge and separate freezer. There are some cheap wooden table and chairs for dining purposes, and there are minimal utensils and cookware provided, as the advertisement has stated that the kitchen is only meant for light, breakfast cooking only.
Distances to Landmarks:
To Aberdeen/Parker Place/Alexandra Road/No.3/Landsdown Mall:
Turn right from home and head north on No.5 road. Continue straight and turn left on Cambie Street. Go straight and you will reach the popular Asian restaurants and shopping complex. (Approx 8 minutes)
To Steveston Village/Fisherman's Wharf:
Turn left from home, go straight and turn right on Steveston Highway. Continue straight and turn left again on No.1 Road, and Steveston is within 1km away (15 minutes)
Only concern we had with Sandy were the night lights around the house. When you drive home at late evening, it is extremely dark and it is very hard to search around for the lights as the house is humongous. Make sure you find out where light switches are, or have your cellphone flashlight ready for at least the first few nights. On the second floor, there are floor panel lighting, so as long as you can make your way up to the second floor, you will be fine. Also, there are no TV/stereos/alarm clocks in the room, so bring your own tablet or mini speakers if you want any type of light entertainment in the room.
Overall, Sandy's Dream Castle is beautiful, very clean and very comfy. It doesn't get better than this for a very economical price!!
I'm sorry I didn't tell you where is the light switch. Thank you for your advice and welcome you come again next time!
