Neighborhood was great! Patti was very nice and easy to work with.
Our stay at Birds of a Feather lodge was an excellent way to enjoy a winter birthday weekend with my wife. Patti was extremely accommodating throughout the entire process, and all the amenities we could need were available to us, and for any extras, there was a grocery store just a few minutes down the road that's open pretty late- and it had firewood! Having a fireplace for any winter activity is pretty much a must, and there were not one, but two! The decor gave it a modern cottage feel and we had privacy without feeling too isolated. Overall, it was a great place to stay and definitely a home away from home. A+, would recommend.
We had a perfect beautiful mini vacation here! The location is great-close to many wineries and close proximity to many cute little towns. Although there's no need to leave when you have a hot tub, (2!) fireplaces and a plethora of good books. Beautiful big open kitchen. The space is lovely with a wonderful warm ambiance. The host was kind and helpful when we asked last minute to extend our stay another night. Highly recommend!
Great communication with the owner. The cable was out when we arrived and she took care of it on Christmas Eve. The place was clean and well stocked. Very quiet development. It's not fancy or new, but very comfortable and felt like home. Fantastic location, would stay here again. Thanks for the great holiday!!!
The description and photos were accurate. A cosy place. The nicest part is the kitchen-living-dining space. Comfortable for 3-4 people. I liked the fireplace, and the use of the hot tub as well. Very close to
Patti answered all my questions within the hour. She was very helpful. Her amazing house is just as described. We loved the large, open kitchen-living room area and the outdoor living room with the hot tub--wow! The house was very clean and the well-stocked kitchen had all that we needed for preparing several meals. We also loved that we could walk to the Warren Dunes right from the house!
very cute place, we only stayed one night but could have definitely stayed longer, very comfortable, nice, convenient location, clean, and comfortable beds, all in all good experience, thank you. we would stay again and recommend to others :)
Overall, we had a nice weekend away in Bridgman/Sawyer. Patti was quick to respond to our questions and provided useful information on how to reach and access the property/nearby beaches. The listing mentions that it can accommodate 10 guests, however I would say it more comfortably sleeps up to 6 (2 people per bedroom, and 2 on the sofas). A rollaway bed was provided, as well as a trundle bed (2 twin mattresses) that is stored on the enclosed outdoor patio, but there are a total of 3 beds in the house, not 8 as suggested in the listing. We enjoyed using the hot tub.
We very much enjoyed our stay. The apartment is in a great location - a quiet neighborhood that is walking distance to the beach and, for most people, downtown Delray/Atlantic Ave. Very near by, there's also a fantastic French bakery a restaurant, cute shops and some practical places like a grocery store. This is a great apartment from which to enjoy all of Delray!
As Patti's description says, the place itself has a beach cottage feel. Its vibe is more cozy, comfortable and lived-in than new, fancy and modern. But everything you need works, the beds are comfortable, the place was clean. And besides - you'll be out and about day and night! This is a great "home base." We would stay again, and recommend it to friends.
Patti has a cute, cosy cabin up in the mountains. It is a great location and is isolated from others. The cabin has a working fireplace and wood stove. The perfect place for a quite get away. Beds were comfortable and the house was clean. The only issue was that the hot tube was a temp of 85 and would not heat up.
