Hi I'm Maggie. I've lived in and near London for the past 50 years. I use to run a guesthouse in central London, and really enjoyed meeting people from all over the world. I Love travelling, and am planning to visit Cuba next!

I really enjoyed my stay at Maggie's place! It's just next to very nice places ( I especially liked the bookshop where it's possible to drink tea...). Maggie and Peter were very kind and I think I will go back there next time I'll be in London it's in a really a pleasant area.
The communication with Maggie was great and she was very helpful with an early check in (lucky for us there was no one in the apartment the night before our arrival). The location is superb, and the apartment was clean and tidy. We stayed for four days and had a great time. thank you Maggie.

Good location. Friendly host. But room itself was nothing special.
Lovely location, only a few minutes walking to the tube station and British Museum. And Maggie is a very nice host and she always replied so quickly and answered all questions. Highly recommended！
As pictured, this is a nice little apartment in a good area for walking around, and close to bus and underground transportation. It gets good light from the windows, and is is in a nice quiet area. Maggie was very helpful and easy to reach whenever I needed her. The only downside is, this apartment can be a little cold in the winter - it takes a little while to heat up on the max heat setting. Overall, a good place to stay.
Check-in was easy, as I could obtain the key even in Maggie's absence.
She showed up shortly after and took care to make sure everything was fine.
The flat is indeed well-placed, in a reasonably quiet street right next to the British Museum, and was clean.
Worth noting, the Wi-fi works very well, an uncommon occurence in rentals.
Due to flight cancellation I had to stay at the apartment another 2 nights and this last minute request was handled very well even though Maggie was on holiday.
My mum stayed here on a visit to London. The place was well priced compared to other airbnbs nearby. She liked how quiet the studio was, the bed was comfy and the place was clean. However she did mention that despite pre-heating the water as indicated, it only stayed hot for a few minutes.
Maggie was very responsive from the beginning. She quickly answered all questions and was very informative and professional about it. While we never met, she ensured that our stay went smoothly from beginning to end. The location of the flat couldn't be better. You are literally one block from the British museum (free admission) and within a healthy walk of all the touristy places. The street is quiet so you still feel as if you are in a quaint little neighborhood. There are plenty of great restaurants outside your door. The room is essentially like in the picture only now there is a little desk/table and two chairs so you have a place to sit and drink your tea and a comfortable chair in the other corner. Overall, we had a wonderful time and highly recommend this place.
