We really enjoyed our stay in Nina's apartment! The flat is in a great and convenient location in trendy Southwark, has a lovely view of the London Eye, and was a quiet and calm oasis in the middle of the city. I would highly recommend to others. The only downside was having to carry my rather heavy suitcase up and down the stairs but as long as you are up for it not a big issue.
Nina was a great host to me. Her room is at the 5th floor and has a beautiful view. Everything is very clean and kept in a very simple way, which I enjoyed a lot. The flat is located very central, just behind Tate Modern (higly recommended) and River Thames with all its sourroundings.
Nina is a very nice, straightforward and non intrusive person.
So, that´s a straight Fiver for Nina :-)
Great location for Central London or the City, and Nina was a lovely host, flexible and very fast to respond to my last minute requests. The flat is clean and uncluttered, with lots of day light and a nice view of the Shard at sunrise.
Great flat, close to the London's South Bank. I really enjoyed the simplicity of the interior design and great views from the balcony. Nina was professional and organized. A great trip overall. Be aware that the flat is on the top floor of a five story building without a lift, so there's a substantial climb whenever you come back.
I had an amazing trip to London. Nina was an incredible host. Amazing views and very open space. Neighborhood was perfect walking distance from everything. I would recommend this flat to anyone.
Nina's place was very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there. The location was excellent. It's just a few minute walk to the Southwark station which can get you to any other spots in London quickly. We walked to great nearby places like the Globe Theatre, Borough Market, and Gabriel's Wharf. There's also a Tesco grocery right down the street which is very convenient.
The flat is located on the top floor of the building with no elevator which may be an issue for some. The apartment also can be a little noisy from the above ground train that runs by. Only really noticeable when the sliding door is left open.
Overall, we were happy with our stay there. The location was very convenient. Nina was kind but does insist on stopping by each day to grab belongings or take care of things during the afternoon. It wasn't a big deal for us since we were out exploring during the day anyway. It was a comfortable stay and we were happy to get to explore the Southwark area. Cool place to stay.
great central location. The apartment was close to a supermarket, tube station and great pubs. Waking distance to Tate modern.
The apartment itself was a good size and lots of natural light. Nina, the host was meticulous in orientating me to the place. Really enjoyed the kitchen
Wonderful location in the city of London, with excellent views. Apartment is minimalist and full of light. Would stay here again. (A note if you have lots of bags and/or small children - there's no lift and quite a few steps to climb).
Nina is a great host and was very clear in her communications.
Her apartment is very clean, comfortable and I was welcomed with a lovely cup of coffee!!! The room I had is at the back of the apartment which allows for a bit more quiet and good blacked out blinds for a decent sleep. In addition there's and excellent view of the Shard while in the living room one of London Eye. In terms of location, excellently situated close to Southwark station and the Jubilee Line for those coming from City airport.
Nina's apartment was clean and well kept; however, it was not tranquil. Her place is located near the train tracks and I was woken up both nights by the train, extremely squeaky floor boards and banging of the cupboards. Nina offered helpful advice to get around town. But she also barged into my room and reprimanded me for speaking too loudly at 8pm and explained the room was to be kept "tranquil." This is a perfect situation for someone traveling by themselves and only needs a place to lay their head. If you are traveling with anyone, or plan to be there during waking hours I would not recommend it.
