This was a lovely place to stay. The bed was comfortable, there was lots of sunlight, the shower's water pressure was good, nicely decorated, and it was very clean when we arrived. He also left a map with nearby points of interest (grocery store, subway, etc.) for us, which we appreciated. While the area itself does not have a lot going on, it's a 5-7min walk to the subway and Montreal has a pretty good transit system. Our only issue was that the air conditioner was louder than we are used to, and my partner had a hard time sleeping on the first night. After that first night, we were good!
Appartement tel que décrit, propre, très bien situé, près du métro et de plusieurs attraits Excellente communication avec le locateur.
Je recommande fortement!

My brother and I had a great stay at Francois's apartment in Montreal from June 7-9 to watch the F1 grandprix. The apartment is located near the Olympic park and about 6 kilometers from downtown (15 min by metro) and it is only about 10 min walk to the metro station. The apartment itself is spacious and well decorated. The bed is comfortable and we slept well both nights. There are restaurants and stores nearby on Ontario street which was convenient.
First experience with airbnb: we were in a bit of a pickle during a very busy week end in Montreal (US Memorial day). Francois replied extremely quickly and we were able to secure the place in an hour or so, which was a great relief.
The apartment is very quiet, especially at the week ends, and we slept great (bed is very comfortable, it is true). It is a nice place, with a bright kitchen and two balconies: we were able to have coffee in the sun one morning. The area is not amazing but the botanical garden is near by and the metro 6mn away (green line straight to downtown). Shops and restaurants a couple of blocks away. Overall, an extremely positive first experience.
We had a wonderful stay in Montreal! Francois was great to work with and communicated with us very well before and during our stay. The apartment was exactly as pictured and perfect for our needs, it was a very comfortable place to stay as we explored Montreal. The location is very quiet and we found it to be very convenient to the nearby markets, public transportation and attractions.
The only cautionary note I would give is that the two flights of stairs to enter the apartment can be tricky to navigate when carrying your luggage or groceries in. Over all it was a great place to stay and use as our base while visiting Montreal and we would book there again.
Wonderful stay. Beautiful apartment with nice furniture and amenities. The bed was very comfortable. We especially loved the big kitchen.
This was my first experience with AirBNB and I was not disappointed. The apartment was 5 min. from the Metro and the Botanical Gardens/Olympic Stadium. The best part was eating crosissants and baguette from the local farmer's market on the front balcony. While close to the subway, the street was quiet...so after busy days traveling around Montreal, we could sleep easily. Francois was a great host, highly recommended!
I stayed in Francois' apartment with three friends during the Osheaga music festival and our stay was fantastic. Francois welcomed us into his neat, sunny apartment when we arrived and kindly provided us with maps and guidebooks. He was very hospitable, providing us with a comfy bed, plenty of fresh towels, and recommendations about the city. His apartment was only 2 blocks from a metro stop which made getting to and from the festival/downtown very painless. The apartment and the host were wonderful! Would stay again!
p.s Apt has 2 balconies, gorgeous!
Francois was great to work with and communicated with us in a timely fashion. His apartment is located within walking distance to the Biodome, Olympic Park and Botanical Gardens- very convenient. We were able to find groceries and restaurants in the neighborhood. Francois recommended Lime Vert for dinner, which was excellent! It's a bachelor apartment on the second floor- there are two flights of stairs to navigate with luggage. The bathroom is small, shower, no tub. We enjoyed the balcony for morning coffee and comfy bed. The only negative was a $52 parking ticket-- apparently we didn't understand the signs (in French) in front of the building and could have used more information in advance. Otherwise, this apartment was a good value for the price.
Our stay was great! Francois was very helpful, the apartment was beautiful and the location more than perfect. Upon arriving the apartment was impeccable and most everything we needed including a map of the neighborhood. Francois even left us food in the fridge to get us started. When our ride home got lost he let us stay with him the whole day waiting, sharing stories and eating watermelon.
As far as the location, it seems to be two blocks from just about everything. The botanical gardens, Olympic park, the subway that takes you downtown in a flash, and most importantly, the market with fresh bread and cheese! thank you Francois, if we ever stay in Montreal again we'll definitely call again!
An amazing guest. Quiet, clean, and very polite. An absolute pleasure to have at our place.
Welcome back at anytime.
