My family and I live in Central London, just above both apartments so we are always around to answer any questions you may have about London or your stay.

While The Entrance To The Flat Is Unusual, This Flat Had Everything We Needed For OuR Short Stay In London. 1min From Trafalgar Square And Supermarkets...It Was Perfect. Yes Its Small But Its Fine. AlsoAfter Check Out We Could Leave OUr Bags Upstairs Until We HadTo Catch Our Plane Which Was Fantastic.
The Flat is a very small studio of no more than 20mq and the photos are misleading because are deformed by the host to seems the flat more confortable tha in reality. The ceiling is less than 2m and live in the flat is claustrophobic, expecially in four people. We chose the flat filtering at least 1 room in airbnb selection, and when we arrive we discover that is only a studio apartment unliveble for four people, we contact the host by phone and she said that isn't write 1 room in the description, but we send her a photo of the page and then she never respond to our mail, this behavior is completelly dishonest. The flat is also dirty, with mold and cobwebs in the entrance, and the smell is terrible also because the only windows are to mold and cobwebs. We have the photo about what we say and we will send to airbnb to allert the people about this apartment. If you are more than two people, please find another flat.
The place was tiny as advertised, as well as being a perfect location. Really could not get better! The issue we had was the washer/dryer continually shutting off and shorting the circuit in our flat. Though present- the wifi was more of a headache than a convenience due to poor signal strength. Anoma was usually reachable to deal with our issues, but failed to respond towards the end of our stay... Overall good location--but shouldn't be known for its comfort or amenities.
Know going in that the ceiling is sloped and low. Place is awkward and cramped. You must access through an industrial alley. We had 2 adults and 2 teens but did manage.
1- Location is fantastic. You are steps away from Trafalgar Square and Charring Cross station.
2- Place is quiet and you have privacy.
3- Cost is reasonable for it's location
4-You get minimal kitchen facilities--but can manage.
5-Asha did store our bags are last day.
1- Bathroom shower is barely functional. Really not much better than a sponge bath without getting entire bath wet. A shower curtain would solve a lot.
2-WiFi only works in a small area and cell phones are not likely to work.
3-As expected there are no windows but was nervous with fire exits and a lot of extension cords, etc.
4- Use text messages not phone--both Anoma's and Asha's phone boxes were full.
First the positive: The location is fantastic - it is just a short block to Trafalgar square and within walking distance of many fine sites.
Despite the location however, we did not enjoy our stay. The apartment is sort of an add-on to the main unit, built on the parking pad in the back alley. The back alley is dark and quite dirty. The room itself is tiny, and for our family of 4 it was very cramped. The picture that you see makes it appear that there is a sitting area - but if you need to use the fold out bed then there is no place to sit aside from one chair. The room was not very clean; the door frames were filthy, some of the cups and cutlery were dirty, as were the little canisters (empty) for tea and coffee. The microwave (which we had to heft onto a shelf to plug in and use) did not shut off automatically. The sink seemed to leak - my feet got damp when I did the dishes.
When we were there it was hot - and in the absence of a window we had to leave the 1/2 door open - which meant that people staying in the unit next to ours could not avoid looking at us in bed. Last, the wifi was very iffy - it worked only sometimes, and only from particular locations. This is a real pain if you plan to use the internet to plan your activities.
We had no direct contact with the host, and only minimal contact with her housekeeper. Their main concern seemed to be that we not ring the doorbell to the main house.
It would take so little to make things more welcoming; leave some maps and brochures, provide some tea/coffee/sugar, call, email, or drop by to check in with guests.
We have travelled quite extensively and stayed in many (budget) guest houses and B&Bs and this was the by far the least appealing place we've stayed in terms of both cleanliness and service.
Although we generally have the philosophy that you're not travelling to spend time in a room, this experience taught me that staying somewhere that you find unpleasant is a poor idea. If the weather hadn't been so fine and the parks so close, I don't know where we'd have gone for a break in the day; this room certainly does not provide a pleasant place to relax.

Anoma was a great guest! Easy to communicate with and left the studio clean. Extremely friendly. Would definitely recommend to other hosts!
