New-ish to the Bay Area, and so glad I've found the best city! It's the perfect mix of city and outdoor fun. I enjoy being in the sun and active, especially if it involves water (swimming & sailing).
We had a great time staying at Bridge's place, she was very accommodating for our large group (6 guys) who all needed separate beds! She made sure there were air mattresses and plenty of bedding available. Bridge also had an awesome housemate who was there a few of the nights of our stay, but she went out of her way to make us feel welcome and looked after us really well. The place is huge and has an amazing garden that you could really just spend days in sitting in the sun or relaxing in the hammock. There is also a big comfy couch and LCD TV with Apple TV, perfect for a quiet night in. The location couldn't really get any better.. so much within walking distance, good food, good pubs and plenty of accessible public transport.
All in all we had an amazing time, we would definitely stay again if Bridge would have us!
Bridge was a great host. She ducked out of work to meet us and there were no issues at all. The flat has a fabulous garden and we were made to feel very welcome. A great stay.
I loved staying here! Thanks to Bridge, my friends and I had an amazing time. She pretty much turned this beautiful Victorian styled house over to us. A VERY spacious room with a view of her quiet street and walking distance to so many places of interest and restaurant. Her backyard was spectacular! Bridge was such an awesome, and helpful host. I would definitely consider staying here again if I plan on visiting the city. The only thing I would say that was difficult was parking. But that's about the only downside. Other than that, I have no complaints whatsoever.
Bridge was a great Air B&B guest. Happy to host her again anytime.
Bridge was a pleasure to have around. She was very clean, quiet and easy going. Would gladly host her again.
Nice respectful guest. We recommend her to stay with you!
Though our room for rent is clearly described as a small room with an air bed, in an apartment shared by three 20-something professional men, Bridge seemed to expect an upscale hotel and princess treatment. We did our level best to be friendly and solicitous, but she arrived with disparaging comments about our neighborhood, wore a surly expression & was uninterested in friendly chitchat throughout her stay, and communicated passive-aggressively. In her defense, she’s a recent business school graduate and seemed extremely stressed about about her job and life.
For an upper-middle-class suburban married couple in a fancy home, I’m sure she would make a lovely guest: mostly quiet and reserved, strictly professional
We were quite glad however that she wanted to check out after only a couple of nights, and not sorry that she left without saying goodbye.
A very pleasant and polite young woman and left the apartment very neat. More people like Bridge and her mum are welcome to stay anytime!
