Ciao sono Elena, sono una giornalista free lance, sono appassionata di arte contemporanea fotografia e viaggi!
The apartment in Camaiore is a cute little spot and great for a couple people or 4 really good friends. It was just my girlfriend and I which was perfect. This apartment is one of two in the house, the other one is much larger and though it was occupied we rarely encountered the neighbors so that was fine. The apartment is pretty much as presented, it's a little sparsely decorated but that didn't bother me as I wasn't there to examine the decor. It's a short walk to the beach and there is a Esselunga (giant supermarket / store) walking distance away which is huge for provisioning. Camaiore di Lido is a small sleepy town where people just rent a place to hang out and then walk to their beach clubs that they belong to and get their sun. While you can walk to the beach, you have to find a beach club that allows daily visitors for a fee or go farther to a public beach. We live in Miami so that wasn't a big deal but if we had gone to Camaiore with the intention of spending a lot of time at the beach, it would have been a problem or more expensive than we realized. That's not Elena's fault but it wasn't something we realized or thought about until we were there. Camaiore di Lido is very close to Pietrasanta, Forte Dei Marmi, and Viareggio which is pretty much where we spent our time. You should rent a car and the parking at the house makes this easy. It would have been nice to have a couple of bikes at the house, everyone here goes around on bikes and the rental places were all out and there were none at the house. Elena was very helpful and very responsive
