Daniel was great, its a really nice clean space!
I stayed for 2 weeks. Clean and comfortable apartment.
Interesting area. Not far from the subway. Plenty of everything you need in a walking distance. Thanks Daniel.
Daniel was a great host, really reliable and he has an awesome apartment. Thanks for the nice stay!
The apartment was very clean and beautiful! The location is great for food and transportation. Right across the street from a lovely park as well.
The only two things that became a hassle: we had to go into Manhattan to pick up the keys, and the internet connection was very poor.
A great stay in New York, and a taster experience of living in the Brooklyn area! The apartment itself was wonderful - really clean and comfortable, and also well-situated in the Bushwick part of Brooklyn - near subway stops, with plenty of cafes - Little Skips on Willoughby St was a great find - and food shops within a short walking distance. I arrived on a Monday afternoon and arranged to meet Daniel in the city where he gave me the keys and instructions to get to Bushwick, and he checked with me that everything was ok during my stay, as well as being a kind host and very respectful of privacy. I had the place to myself for most of my visit as Daniel was out during the days, which meant there was plenty of space to either do work or relax when I wasn't out exploring the city! The building itself is a little noisy (just that you can hear other tenants when they are coming in and out, as well as some of the sounds carrying up from the street) but thankfully not so much of a problem at night. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay, but still in a vibrant part of the city!
The are was nice. We stayed at Kave coffee shop most the time. The host was nice. The sofa bed was comfortable.
daniel was a very nice host! we stayed 3 days in his home, nice, comfortable and very clean. thanks daniel!
Daniel was super easy to get in touch with and very helpful, checking in on me even though I didn't ask. The place was perfect too! A very nice space. Kind of a small place to share if you're both home but Daniel made it no problem. Quiet, tidy and respectful and very nice to hang out with too, everything was great.
Had a great stay at daniel's, he's very nice and respectful and his place is great and comfortable!
Daniel's place was a lovely, well-thought-out oasis for us - a truly pleasant place to rest our heads after exploring Manhattan and Brooklyn. The kitchen is well set up if you want to cook - otherwise there are lots of great places to eat and drink in Bushwick, or Williamsburg. The apartment is conveniently located between multiple subway lines, and has a true neighbourhood vibe. Whilst we were corresponding with Daniel the whole time, we got to meet him on our last day - he was lovely, very accommodating and let us sleep in and check out late in the afternoon. We were very comfortable here, and felt totally at home - we could happily live in NYC! A great city, with so much happening - make sure you give yourself plenty of time to see it all. Even then, you will have to come back again and again. Thank you so much Daniel! :)
Daniel was the perfect guest. Friendly, respectful of house/roommates, good communicator. Would gladly host him again.
I never actually met him since I was traveling at the time. Cannot fairly say how he was as a guest but he was punctual.
They left the apartment clean and in very good condition. I'll be very happy to host all of them again in the future and i strongly recommend them to everybody.
Great care of everything...well tidy up the room..highly recommend...anytime welcome back
I've travelled with Daniel a number of times and have even lived with him. He's a great guy to have around – really respectful, but also very interesting.
I've known Daniel for decade as a fellow traveler and artistic conspirator -- we've crossed paths in several cities, and he's one of the most gracious and brilliant people I know. His artwork (ask him about the taxi cab project) displays a deep appreciation of place, and I'd choose him as a guide even in a city we'd never visited before based on his sociable instinct and taste. His place is great and I'm going to crash there if you don't.
Great traveler, good experiences and stories. Considerate of local cultures, it'd be a pleasure to room with Daniel.
