Yannik was such a nice host and a great first stay for my airb&b experience. She was helpful in telling us how to get to and from her place as well as recommending places to eat or things to do if you ask. The room was simple but had everything you need for a stay in the beautiful city. It was just outside the inner circle of the city and about a 20 min walk from the city center which wasn't bad at all. It was pretty much a straight shot from her apartment to the city on one of the main roads making it easy to find your way back at night. Overall it was a quaint house and perfect for a one nights stay.
Stayed with Yannick on a long distance drive. Was kind enough to stay up late to let me in. Didn't meet Yannick but her boyfriend (I assume). Very friendly. Room was basic (no heating) but I just need a bed for a few hours so was fine.
Room close to the town which is great, map provided on arrival, very helpful. However, the room was freezing.
The location was good, just a short walk to the centre. Was a bit difficult to park as is just residential parking and wasn't much space the time we arrived. The room itself was in the attick and a decent size. It did get pretty cold though but there were plenty of blankets provided. The bathroom was the down side as it was off the kitchen meaning it was a bit awkward if you wanted to freshen up whilst someone was cooking! Yannick was very friendly and welcoming and it was a great way to end our trip.
Yannik is a kind host. At first I asked if I can use the kitchen but she said no, but after, she said that I can use it anyway, and she even wanted to cook for me when I said that I was too tired after a longday walking. But the room was cold in the night and there wasn't any heater in there. I used 2 blankets to cover myseft but it's too heavy so I didn't have a really good night. I hope it will be better than the summer. Another detail, I booked a privated room but when I was there it's a large room for 5 people, luckily I was the only one that night so I think you should ask Yannick before comming. The room is in the 3rd floor but the bathroom is in the ground floor. For ending, I think this room is ok if you want to save the money, you cann't ask for more with this price. And don't forget to make sure that you know the address because I was lost in 20 mins when I went to there by bus.
Bruges is an amazing city and the apartment is very close to the centre, you can totally walk everywhere.
Yannick was very helpful and gave me a great map of the city. The location was convenient, very close to the train station.
David, our longterm friend, hope to see you again soon in Asia, they have a lot of food there. :-) Hope you enjoyed the visit in Belgium and fingers crossed or we visit USA :-)
It was a great time. I stayed 2 nights in Pascal &Yannick's place. It was very clean and they were very pleasant and a great challenge in chess..haha.. It's not far from the city, 15 minutes walking with a supermarket, 1 pizza delivery, 1 fritture restaurant and 1 very recommended restaurant in TripAdvisor (LaTache) and 2 banks in the way to the Markt. Also, there is a great park close to the city entrance. I recommend it if you don't wanna spend too much money and don't mind to share the room.
Joy has changed a lot, and is no longer our friend. ;-)
Yannick and Pascal were amazing hosts! Really felt very welcome at their home. They were very friendly and we had a great time chatting and joking. They also provided information on the city too. The room was nice, with a sink conveniently located right beside the bed. Only issue was that the room didn't have a heating system, but there were 3 thick blankets to make up for that. All in all, would love to come back here next time! Highly recommended!
Yannick and his girlfriend are very friendly and polite people. It 'been a pleasure to have them as guests.
