Lisa is great! Her place located along Dry Creek... the heart of the wine country. And the best part, is that it on the property of a winery. When my girlfriend I went, the vines were bare yet still beautiful. Could not imagine what they would like when they bare fruit!
Lisa is a great host! Would highly recommend this place to anyone trying to get the feel of the wine country in the own back yard.
Lisa could not have been a better host. The home was gorgeous, the room and bed were comfortable, and the breakfast (including Lisa's homemade granola) was a welcome delight each morning. I slept better than I had in weeks. And I'd definitely stay there again.
Lisa & John were very warm and friendly and made us feel very welcome in their home. The house is set in the middle of the vineyard, and we loved ending the day while enjoying the views from their back porch (amidst the vines :) The location is great, perfect location for visiting the Dry Creek Valley Wineries. A quick drive into town for the many shops/restaurants.
As an Airbnb host myself, I was so impressed with Lisa! She takes great care to make sure all the small things are taken care of. My girlfriend and I felt pampered the entire time. The bedroom is big, the bed was comfortable and we loved the European style breakfast! The location is phenomenal, so close to many great vineyards, downtown Healdsburg and recreational activities. We also loved the outdoor deck with table for eating a few feet away from a giant backyard wine vineyard. Thank you Lisa!
Our stay at Lisa's was amazing! The location great for a secluded wine country getaway. It was close to town but away from the noise and hustle and bustle. It was a serene bit of heaven. Waking up to see beautiful magnolia trees and grapevines outside our window and sitting out on the deck having breakfast surrounded by a gorgeous landscape of grapevines and mustard bushes was breath taking.
Lisa and John were amazing hosts. I can not say enough good things about them. They were not only very welcoming, but they also went above and beyond. Unfortunately I got food poisoning, unrelated to my stay there, but Lisa was kind enough to make me fresh chicken soup to help my recovery. During that recovery period while I was in bed they were gracious enough to share their BBQ with my date.
The house was clean, spacious and immaculate. We had plenty of towels and toiletries. The bed was comfortable and clean. The house was well decorated. All the food prepared were organic and delicious thanks to Lisa's amazing skills in the kitchen.
There are also plenty of nearby amazing wineries. I wish we had more time to check out more of them. I think this place would be great to bike around from winery to winery. So if you have bikes, bring them up and enjoy a leisurely ride along the dry creek area.
Even after having to deal with the food poisoning, all-in-all, it was a fantastic trip thanks in part to Lisa and John's hospitality. For those that want a bit of serenity, this is a slice of heaven.
Thank you Lisa and John!
