I'm a 27-year-old documentary filmmaker and entrepreneur, finishing up a global documentary about the impact of microlending on women, which was shot on four continents. I used to be a Futures/Equities Trader and left my job to launch this passion project. Research we did when filming in Nairobi, Kenya, led me to launch a for-profit social game for mobile microlending, and we're heading back to implement it in Kenya this summer.
I love meeting new people. I love novelty. I love the idea of merging for-profit high-tech startups with social enterprise to make a big impact. I want to make the world a better place for women to live, because then it will be a better place for us all.
I'm a low key guest - I love wandering around and exploring a place on my own. As a host, I'd love to help you our and get your acclimated to whatever extent you may feel comfortable. My schedule is generally fairly flexible, so I'd be happy to take you out on the town, or give you space to explore on your own.
