I live in San Francisco with my wife and head down Nosara as much as we can. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

I've stayed at many with my hosts across the world, this is the only poor experience I've had. Nosara is one of my favorite vacation destinations, but I do not recommend staying at the Dulce House unless there are significant improvements. The home is not luxurious, the water pressure is terrible ( I have stayed in many other houses in Nosara and never had these problems) and the appliances don't work. Do not rent this house if you have children, there is a significant drop-off at the edge of the home that is not barricaded off. The internet only works in the living room, if it works at all) The ping pong table was falling apart (we fixed it up so we could play). It is a 15 minute atv/car ride from Guiones, not 3 mins as i was told. Although the host was communicative, she had an excuse for every problem and did not help to make our stay more pleasant. Additionally, I booked the house at a lower price and was told after booking it was significantly more expensive than booking price (and charge $275 extra that was never returned to me.) The only plus is that the AC worked.
