Hello I'm Lisa, I'm a mother of 2 who have flown the nest. I work as a nurse at the local public hospital.
I've lived in Hobart for some 22 years. Love food, travel and an active life, so know lots of lovely restaurants/cafes in and around Hobart. I also enjoy cooking so the kitchen is well equipped, as long as you clean up after you - go for it. We have some lovely food in Tassie.
My travels have been various, the usual for my era in Europe i.e. France,Spain, Germany. Italy, Croatia. I joined a community choir (cannot sing but make a noise) to do volunteer work in Uganda - WOW and put on a mountain gorilla trip Di Fossey type to Rwanda, that was life changing and I have some cute photos too! A couple of safari's in Kenya, South Africa and Botswana - but top shelf for me! Glamping the "tent" was larger than a small Paris apartment. My recommendation: save up for the best to see the safari animals, they cost alot to buy and look after.
I have family in UK so family activities like weddings call be back there and I cannot go that far without a quick trip to Paris!!!!!!
I've only done one Airbnb which was last one to Paris - it was great!
I own a friendly cat called Ezmarelda who also loves people; read she sees you coming!!! I'm really a dog person but you cannot leave a dog for a few days, where you can a cat.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you enjoy Tasmania.
Please ask for anything that will make your stay more enjoyable. I will try to accommodate your requests.
