Response from Liliana:
The visitor sent us several messages the day she wanted to
arrive, indicating an arrival at 2pm then 7pm then 10pm, and
trying to bargain the price. When, fed up, we decided to stop
answering , we had been surprise to see her book it. We received
her at 1 o'clock in the morning ! So late that we normally don't
accept. The prices and conditions are well known and explained on airbnb.
There is nothing unfair on how airbnb and the owners handle the
prices. Cannes is hot in July, it's the reason why a lot of pepole comes
on the Cote d'Azur at this time of the year, air conditioning is
rare in France, some appartments have it, others no. This one
don't have and the announce don't mention air conditioning at all.
But the appartment has a fan. There have been cookroaches in the begining of july in the
building (and others in Cannes), but the appartment is always
clean and the building has been entirely disinfected since (btw
bugs don't bite). Mosquitos are common in Cannes during summer and
bites. Sorry, but it's the responsibility of the client to bring
it's repelant. The appartment is not great luxury but is big for a studio
appartment, and has a beautiful and totally functional kitchen
(owen, fridge, microwave owen, toaster, dish washing machine), so
the price is ok for it, and most visitors are happy.
