Update March 2015- We are adding over 80 listings this year, look out for more properties coming every month!
I've lived in Osaka more than 16 years now! I've been renting apartments to expats living in Osaka for over 9 years, and have been doing airbnb for more than 3 years.
I've been designing houses and apartments for more than 8 years, and have dozens and dozens of amazing projects that I have renovated and sold.
I'm not a qualified architect (or carpenter!), but I do have allot of experience designing, and although almost all my apartments and houses have been bought by Japanese people, a few have been bought by non-Japanese. Airbnb listings Ryan's building and Genesis's properties are some of my work.
Discovering airbnb means that I have a (healthy!) excuse to keep making/designing amazing apartments, specifically suited for travellers to Osaka. While not all are suitable for airbnb (due to location) I do my best to find the most amazing places available for travellers to Osaka! And after 9 years of renting properties to travellers, I know what is needed in the apartment and what is just a waste of space! :)
2015 will see the addition of several apartments around the Namba area, and with our new team on board, we will have 100 listings by the end of 2015! Even a machiya in Kyoto!
I also manage an organic restaurant in Osaka, and organize large scale functions and private parties. Our restaurant can prepare vegan, halal or other special needs meals with 48hr prior notice. Our head chef has worked in some of the best restaurants and hotels in the world and can prepare specific meals for your dietary needs.
Jeroen- I'm from Holland and have been in Osaka for 2 years. I work with Samantha managing the airbnb listings. With daily Japanese school, meeting the most incredible people from all over the world on airbnb, and teaching English, I'm pretty busy. But I always make time for a beer with friends and guests on the weekends!
Adrian- I'm from France, and currently enrolled in a Japanese language school. I'm the caretaker for the Namba building, and when I'm not working there I help in the restaurant. I love dining with friends and exploring Osaka.
Umeru- I'm from China and take care of 6 apartments. I'm studying Japanese and hope to enter a Japanese university next year.
