Pros: Cute apartment, spacious, comfortable bed, pots and pans if you would like to cook (we didn't), great water pressure, a few minute walk to the tram and even closer to the bus stop, great recommendation of restaurants (A Casa Mia being our favorite)
Cons: No hot water on the first day but once fixed, the shower was great. No internet for the entire 4 night stay. This was very inconvenient for the planning of our stay. We missed a few top sites (away from the center) because we weren't sure of the correct bus route. Noisy upstairs neighbor made it difficult to sleep past 7am. I'm not sure if they were remodeling or are sculptors, but every morning around 7am, the hammers started. I understand that this is not the hosts fault at all.
All in all, we loved Florence and it was nice to come back to an apartment that we could call home at the end of the day.
What an idyllic estate set up in the hills above Florence! It is just a 20 min bus ride from the center and a gorgeous 5 minute walk to the villa through an adorable path surrounded by olive groves. I loved the serenity, charm and beauty of it all. Guido is an amazingly hospitable host. He is communicative, generous and passionate about this historic estate. I cannot wait to return. The chapel was so charming, immaculately clean and warm, i was there during the cold months. Internet was super fast! See you very soon Guido and thank you
La casa e' obbiettivamente grande e bellissima, come nell'annuncio!raccomando l'esperienza!!
This is the place to stay if you are looking for the true Tuscan experience. Rustic and full of character. A beautiful house in a beautiful location. If you want charm and authenticity come here! If you want all the modern gadgets (microwave, constant hot water) don't come here.
Guido is a generous and considerate host. A true Tuscan!
If you have a large vehicle, the road to the house will be a challenge-manageable, but a challenge.
We were met close to the tram stop in Florence as agreed. We were escorted to the apartment and the features explained. The modern ground floor apartment was well fitted out and comfortable, with excellent food providers nearby. The location is very convenient to the city, being close to the excellent tram service that takes you into the main railway station close to the town centre.
Thank you Guido for a most enjoyable visit to Florence.
We loved this apartment!
Very well located, only few stations of tramway away from the center.
Bedroom was big and very welcoming.
We loved the kitchen, very useful, modern and clean.
Markets and stores nearby.
We used the parking spot for the last 2 nights, very helpful!
We definitely recommend this apt!
Host we also helpful as well.
Resumiendo: recomendamos muchisimo villa Le Muracce, volveriamos a repetir tan linda experiencia!!!

We stayed at Guido's apartment for 4 nights and had a lovely time! It's just outside of the main centre of Florence but easily accessed by the tram which seemed to go every 5 mins or so. The apartment itself is wonderful, a great sized kitchen living room and bedroom as well as a lovely balcony. The bed was comfy and the shower was great! Communication was mostly with Guido's son Giovanni who was really helpful with information on the area we were in and let us stay in the apartment a little longer on the last day. We would definitely recommend staying here and will do again when we return to Florence!
