We had a great experience staying here! Communication with Anette was easy, and then switched to Ferdinand, the landlord in Kitzbuhel. It was quick and easy with him. We stayed with another family here, so there were 4 adults and 3 kids. There was plenty of room, it was clean, comfortable, well stocked kitchen for cooking, and you would walk everywhere (skiing, ice skating). We had a great experience here, would love to stay again, and would recommend.
The cottage was wonderful, cozy and very romantic. The family lovely, welcome us very nice. Beautiful garden, beautiful nature.
The experience at Annette's romantic cottage was simply great. The cottage is very cute and romantic, surrounded by green, and we loved staying there. Looking at the pictures, I thought it was really in the middle of a wood, but there are some houses/neighbours around since it is located within their appurtenance land. Though the neighbours are quiet and you have your independent access. The only thing was some noice on the roof in the night (probably scraping from some mice or other animals, but that's part of being surrounded by green!). We spent there 4 nights getting to visit both the Carithia and Galizia areas, so it was the perfect place to stay while visiting these areas. Therefore, even if the weather was unfortunatley not so brilliant, due to the beautiful places we visit and the wonderful cottage we stayed at, we had an overall remarkable experience, that I would definitely suggest.
We never met Annette but her mother, who took care for showing us the place, and the communication with Annette was though very good.
I don't use the word "perfect" lightly, but this entire Airbnb experience was without flaw. We arrived 6 hours late, at 10 PM at night, and our hosts STILL offered to cook us a three course meal, complete with local wine and fresh truffles. If that doesn't sum up exemplary hospitality I don't know what does.
The cottage is every bit as charming as it looks in the photos (if not more!) and my boyfriend and I can't wait to come back! Our trip here was, in a word, perfect.
Sehr nette und rustikale Hütte. Hervorragendes Essen in der Taverne. Service kann nicht besser sein - wir kommen bestimmt wieder
We stayed in this little house in May for 3 days. It was a great experience. The house is very old (in a good way) and it's located in a beautiful area overlooking the mountains. It's cozy and cute inside. The only little thing we didn't really like was the amount of religious attributes inside the house, a bit overwhelming. There is also no kitchen, but there is a little fridge and some appliances to eat and drink.
We are a family of 7, with 5 children aged between 4 and 12 years.
The place was ideal for us. The set up in three well planned bedrooms was great, and also the 3 bathrooms are spacious.
The living room/ dining area has style and makes one feel at home. There is no square meter badly planned. Everything you need to feel comfortable is there, including games, bathroom amenities, spices and wood for the open fire place. The pictures offer a glimpse, but we found the place more impressive than the photos conveyed it.
The location is central and through the private parking additionally convenient. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the main lift (even with young children).
We can only warmly recommend the place, if you are looking for a comfortable, and well furnished location in the Austrian Alps.
I didn't think there was any way the real cottage would live up to the cottage in the picture, but it certainly does - and is so much more remarkable to see in person. We stayed here for two nights on a vacation from New York City, using the location in Carinthia as a country getaway and also a launching pad to explore the small towns and beautiful Lake Worthesee. The cottage was clean and the family was super friendly. The restaurant run by Nepomuk is fantastic as well.
A tip for out-of-towners using GPS to find the cottage: There is a town about 45 minutes away with same name as the street address for the cottage. The town coincidentally has a STREET with the same name as the town.
Nette Hütte, nette Gastgeber, gutes Essen im angrenzendem Lokal. Allerdings wird es auch für zwei etwas eng - die Hütte hat höchstens 25 qm, keine 40.
