I am currently a law student from Laramie, Wyoming, USA who will be studying abroad for the summer. I plan to spend a month in London , a week in Paris and a week in Venice.
This will be my first time traveling to Europe but it has always been on my bucket list of things to do before I die. (Hoping the death thing is a long way off!) The best part is I will also get to see part of the Olympics this year (another check off my bucket list).
I am hoping to stay somewhere where I can get a real non-tourist feel for the places I visit. Of course I will want to see the tourist places but I have found in my limited travels that meeting "real" people who aren't in the tourist industry makes for a better experience. I am quiet and unassuming. I keep things clean and will be traveling alone for the most part. So advice and a comfy bed to sleep in will be much appreaciated.
P.S. I speak English and have had minimal high school French although I am afraid without some patience I may annoy you with the amount I don't know. However, I am willing to try to learn and use as much French as I can in the week I am there.
