Tanya's house was a wonderful base for a long weekend in Seattle. It's a delightful house, with intriguing paintings, a spacious kitchen and living room, an aquarium, and a huge backyard. It's in a very quiet neighborhood but is close to a supermarket and a Starbucks. There are two bedrooms on the main floor; the third bedroom (and bathroom) are on the lower level, reached by a spiral staircase that has the best railing system I've ever seen. I have knee issues but felt completely comfortable and safe using it. (The 7-year-old and 9-year-old girls loved the staircase so much that we had to make a rule: no using it without permission and there had to be a reason to go downstairs!) The TV is also downstairs, and there is a comfy sofa and plenty of space to spread out. Although we didn't meet Tanya (she was leaving on a trip), she made the process a breeze, and also checked in with us by phone to make sure everything was going well. The house was in a great location for us, as we were visiting other family in Edmonds and also heading downtown. The adults and the children in our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Thanks, Tanya, for a great weekend!
This was the perfect "girls-get-away-weekend" spot! Tanya's home felt like a peaceful sanctuary, a retreat from the daily grind. The space was full of inspirational elements that truly made us feel as though we were part of her spiritual journey. The vibe inside her home set the tone for our entire trip! It was so cozy and comfortable. From Himalayan salt lamps to bright cheerful colors, we felt reenergized and relaxed. While Tanya was not intrusive in any way, we felt as though she was always just a text or phone call away - if we needed anything. Her openness, love, acceptance (whatever you want to call it) was felt and while she was not physically with us during our stay, she was one of the girls with us that weekend. We loved staying here and hope to visit again.
It is such a lovely house! Tanya kept it really neat. Garden in the backyard is like in a fairy tail. :) we had a wonderful stay in the house. It is 15 min driving to the city, 15-20min to Bellevue, quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend for family traveling to Seattle.
This home was a beautiful, colorful, serene retreat! I cant say enough good things about the decor, outside space, and overall feel of Tanya's house. My family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights
We had a great time. The house was very charming and filled with wonderful artwork and inspirational sayings. Sadly, we weren't there much, but when we were, we were all very comfortable. Tanya made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The only bad part was we didn't get to meet face to face due to traffic on the way up and us being gone at our son's Iron man race. Overall, great time.
Tanya was very accommodating and welcoming. Her home is just as adorable in person and it was a treat to stay there. Plenty of room for the four of us (four adults). It was easy to find and very close to Seattle. Nice peaceful community to come home to after a day in the busy city.
We had a very pleasant stay at the peaceful and funny colorful house of Tanya. At the moment you step in you feel welcome and at home.
The neighborhood is quiet and silent and we loved walking in the nearby park.
The location is a very suitable base for trips to Seattle and nearby the (crowded) i5. We highly recommend Tanya's place and hope that others enjoy their stay stay as much as we did.
Tanya's hospitality was great. She is easy to work with and very supportive; since this was our first time using air BnB it helped that she walked me through the process. The house is great - huge backyard for our kids to run around, and plenty of room for the 4 of us. The location is very convenient - we could get to downtown in 15 min with no traffic.
My first experience with Airbnb was at Tanya's cozy and welcoming house! She was a nice host and we couldn't ask for anything more! I love every nice decoration in the house and backyard!
I have stayed at Tanya's place multiple times and I really enjoy it. The conversations with Tanya are great. The house is always clean and comfortable. Odie the dog is great company. I intend to stay again in the future if possible.
Tanya and Annika were so very fun to have as my guests! So eager to see the city during a brief stay. They were clean and respectful too! I would welcome them both back any time and refer them for future host opportunities.
