Hello, I am social anthropologist who takes care about my sweet little girl at the moment :-). I will be happy to give you some more advices about the surroundings and Prague.
I really enjoyed the flat. It had everything I needed for the week I stayed there and was perfectly located in a cool part of Prague.
I look forward to my next visit.
The apartment is amazing! So beautiful and spacious with high ceilings and big windows. It took us about 30 min to walk to the centre but by transit much less. The area is good with little shops and a tesco metro around te corner. Marketa is very accommodating also! It's a great place to stay we loved it!!
I had a pleasant time in the apartment. It is not too far from the city center, it was a good experience taking the bus and minggle with people.
The construction in front of the building was annoying for the first two days.
The apartment is spacious and Marketa was helpful in providing tips and direction.
Advice- Buy your train ticket at the metro station as it may be difficult to find one in the area.
I will return to Marketa's apartment next time.
Nice spacious appartment, with good location, not far from interesting cafés and bars:) The host, Marketa, is very friendly, gave us some tips for the area and was very flexible as to our late arrival and late departure (thank you:)
The only thing that might bother somebody is the ongoinig reconstruction of the roof of building, and workers going by improvised elevator every 30 minutes in front of your windows... though at the and of the day, its quite fun:)
Marketa is very friendly. She welcomed us very gently and helped us with some basic info about the the area. Beds were good. Stuff in the apartment were all good, spacious apartment with all stuff we need.
Apartment and area looks a bit old but surely good value for money.
Good access to public transport. My mom liked her cute kid and the calendar she made of her pictures :).
Nette Wohnung, wie beschrieben. Einfacher Standard, aber alles wichtige ist da. Die Sauberkeit lies allerdings zu wünschen übrig. Küchenoberflächen waren klebrig. Drei deutsche Fernsehprogramme, WLAN problemlos.
Marketa's apartment was exactly as advertised. Beds were comfortable, bath was perfect, wifi worked well, complete kitchen, and the entire apartment was clean and neat, and in a quiet neighborhood (except for some presumably temporary construction being done right out front).
The only possible drawback is that the neighborhood is not *quite* central, and unfortunately as a tourist it's easier to use the metro (which is a fifteen minute walk away, uphill) than it is buses or trams (which are much closer).
But the trade-off is getting away from the crowds and traffic, and the apartment is in a quiet, leafy part of the city.
Overall it's a great place, with an attentive, helpful host. Thanks!
This flat was perfect!
Not too far from the town center but far enough to see the real Prague lifestyle.
Inside, there's everything to spend a confortable stay.
Marketa is a very kind person. She came to pick us up and showed us everything we needed.
We had a great stay at Marketas place . The apartment is spacious , close distance to the central Prague area . Nice neighbourhood and great little restaurants . We liked the meal at Mon ami which Marketa suggested and would come back any time . Thank you
Our stay at this place was full of pleasure. It was good place, near to bus stop, near to market, was clean , kitchen available, nice boss/chef. we spent nice time,
