I must say that I have enjoyed the experience. 95% of them have been great.
Since we are "home-sharing" cleanliness and mindfulness of different habits (way of doing things) are of the upmost importance.
For example, one of my greatest pet peeves when booking a hotel is to check into my lovely room and find a hair(s) on my bedding or in the bathroom. And I do not believe that's extreme :-) to ask for, so I take pride in delivering what you deserve, a clean, fresh, comfortable place.
I typically find a way to look at the glass half full. I am respectful and tolerant. I love traveling. I am a life-long learner and can teach any subject once learned. I have a bachelor's degree and I am currently be pursuing my Master's in Project Management. Hire ME!!! I would love a job that I could do a bit of traveling and negotiations. I act as a conduit in many situations. I'm not afraid to lead or follow (a great leader).
NOTE: DECEMBER 16, 2013 is my last booking for the year. I will be celebrating my 40th B-Day and the graduation with my Master's of Project Management in January 2014. I am taking that time off to REJUVENATE my space, take it back for a minute. Bless it! Sage it. And fill it with my family to fly in from all over and celebrate with me. Happy Holidays in Advance!
My life motto: Live Full. Die Empty. adopted from Les Brown
I want to leave this planet knowing that I made an impression of the life of someone. I want to have done at least 80% of what I dreamed of doing. I have two list: (1) the bucket list & (2) the fuck-it list and yea I'm implying that the latter list is the list that you just let your hair down, step out on faith, take risk/chances, do something wild, tell yourself #eff it! :-) Live Full. Die Empty. #LesBrown
I honestly believe that laughing can cure all illnesses.
If you appreciate your privacy and desire a clean, comfortable and cozy temporary home, then I am your best bet. I must admit, I am working on multiple projects that require much of my time. I cannot commit to hosting outside of the home, i.e city tours, etc. I will dedicate one day or a few hours over the span of a few days to take you to the local shops that you will frequent, including the BART station (public transportation).
My personality: Weird because I am such a socialite and reserved at the same time. I am a Capricorn which some account for my reserved demeanor. I appreciate privacy and the respect of personal space, so I have the tendency to not get too personal. But I remain OPEN.
My idea guests have set agendas, are financially and of course mentally stable, clean, considerate, and easy going. We greet each other when we see each other and have brief conversations. Even though we do not know each other well, we communicate openly and honestly. If there is something that is not working or that you need, please communicate this to me. I will do the same.
Best Kept Secret: I do have teeth, but I don't bite :-) Despite my quiet demeanor, I am available to you. Text me or Call me. I am very compassionate & flexible. I really am funny. I have a good heart and operate with great intentions.
Best Advice for Guest: Please, please, please clean up behind yourself in the bathroom, especially your shedded hair. If I go to a hotel and see hair in the bathroom or anywhere in the room, i.e. on the sheets, etc, I will not stay in that room. To me, it is not sanitized. I want my bathroom to feel and look clean at all times. I want to feel comfortable. I do not feel comfortable if it's hair all over the floors. I mention this because it has been a more than regular occurrence. I feel uncomfortable to have the conversation with my guests, but I will. So, best thing is after use, look over the bathroom and make sure it is presentable at all times.
At the end of your visit, I desire great reviews. In order for me to earn them, I must present my space in the highest of quality from cleanliness to comfortability. With that in mind, I will share things with you, such as: tips, suggestions, house rules, observations, etc. that support me in delivering a great home to you.
